Spangles — Restaurant in Wichita

today is September 7, 2018 I just heard a commercial from spangles introducing the new caramel pumpkin pie slide... Like other people I decided to turn the vehicle around and head straight to the nearest spangles . I ordered a medium because I love their ice cream and I am a big fan of pumpkin pie . Long behold when I get home this thing is a joke it is definitely not worth 5.90 for a medium when I called to complain one guy says he’s the manager so I told him that the pie is frozen or something. It was loaded with this purée pumpkin. in my opinion straight out of a can not an actual pie on top with over 3/4 of the ice cream on the bottom . But in all this thing was absolutely Disgusting to eat. Good job general manager for not making me a happy customer .Will definitely not be going back for your cold...

Unfortunately had the worst experience at the Spangles on central and Woodlawn. Went through the drive through. Female employee very unfriendly. Had to repeat order three times after waiting for several minutes. Restaurant empty. One car in drive thru. Once I reached the window was told to pull forward and they would bring my food to me. Rude girl came out saying she charged the wrong order to my card. No apology ! Clearly could care less about her job. She took my card to recharge it correctly. I chose to go into the store to verify what was being done with my card. The manager on staff, Dan, was nice enough but could not offer me any receipt showing they had cancelled the incorrect charge on my card. Again, no apology. If they were busy I completely would understand....

My only time here, and I only went through the drive thru. The young lady who took my order was not the most polite person in the world. She sounded bored, and like she couldn't wait to punch out. But she got my order right, so that's good. The man who gave me my food was very polite and friendly so it evened out. The food was...ok. The meat patty was good, tasted like the greasy burgers we'd make at home when I was a kid. The bun was a little rubbery, and the lettuce was kinda sad and wilted; it was 7pm so it's kind of understandable that it'd be wilted by then. But I do think customers deserve fresh lettuce even in the evenings. The fries were non-descript; not bad, just not outstanding. Not too bad, but I would definitely prefer a Whataburger...
