The early morning coagulation of Jaguars and BMW's in the drive through make it difficult to reach the parking lot. Upon entering the senses are inundated with ill fitting yoga pants and the convoy of white women compressed therein. The frames of the sunglasses they find necessary to continue wearing once indoors are the size of saucer plates. Vibe is nice, but regularly interrupted by the shrilly valley girl “Oh my gawd" and “So could I like” of the patrons ordering. Strangely, though the small shop is brimming with the sounds of their voices, they seem to do more communicating with hand gestures than they do with their abrasive squawking. Décor inside the shop is quaint. It's as if an old Chinese takeout place was hastily repurposed via a trip to Hobby Lobby. That's not to say it isn't nice. Il Primo is clean, the furniture is inviting, and the hand drawn menu with pictures is a nice personal touch. Alas, my girlfriend recently purchased a Nespresso™ machine. Unfortunately she thought it prudent to spend 30 minutes in bed looking at Instagram this morning leaving only time to hastily dress and rush out the door. And so here I am spending $7.00 on a cup of sugar with beans squeezed in. I regret to inform you that I can not speak to the quality of the products sold here. For what it's worth, they do seem rather well made. For now I sit and wonder when this $200.00 espresso maker will pay itself off. Godspeed fellow...

I have been a huge fan of il primo for years and go there multiple times a week. The coffee and food is always amazing. Generally the individuals I encounter are also superb! However, today I pulled up to order a turkey and cheese croissant and coffee for my aunt who is in a retirement home. I pulled up around 1253pm and there was 2 cars in front of me. When I pulled up to do my order it was 1259pm. I immediately ordered and was told "we are sorry our kitchen closes at 1pm". I was shocked. So I order the drinks and pull up. I tell the guy at the window I was disappointed in the service because I go there all the time and the customer service is superb so to be shut down like that when i was there before 1pm was not what I was expecting. He then closes the window halfway and starts laughing repeating what I said to someone inside. When he came back I asked to talk to the manager just based on how he laughed at me. I told the manager I was saddened and disappointed in the customer service today and her response was "well our clock said 1:02pm and I can't do anything about it when they close the kitchen". I get having times the kitchen closes and it's just a sandwich I wasnt that worried about it. However, the blatant lack of respect that...

Drinks are fantastic though not the biggest fan of the food (I'm pretty picky though) cool people, cool place. Highly recommend!

My personal favorite drink to get is the "Fireside Chai", I typically get it hot with oat milk & an extra shot of espresso (I consume too much caffeine, my choice though). It has the perfect blend of flavors and accommodations for my needs and wants.

Shay was fantastic, very helpful and quick to get things made without missing anything.

NEGATIVE: The air-conditioning is very loud for some reason? It wasn't before the remodel but I'm assuming it's not the placement of the condenser, but an issue with the bearing or something wearing out and needing fixed. There's a very loud hum inside the building that's annoying to me, but just drive the employees crazy so props to them for sticking it through.
