The Dub Event Venue — Local services in Wichita

We initially took our seat outside to accommodate the baby we were with and because I don't do well in crowds. Jasmine who was the server provided excellent choices for my beer and my wife's root beer (dd).

After a Karen came onto the patio to sit down and to tell us that they were smoking and didn't care about our babies health, we went inside. Kudos the the guy who she was with for calling out her behavior.

Jasmine and the hostess were incredibly nice and reaccomodated us afterwards.

Her food recommendations were delicous and I will definitely be having Cuban sandwiches with anjou sauce from now one.

Outside of the random patron whom I named earlier, this was a wonderful evening with my wife and child. Karen, wherever you are I truly wish you a more fulfilled existence.

This score is proportional to Jasmine and the venue being great with wonderful options for food and drink. I also wish for the good rating this venue received to be the opposite for the entitled drunk lady who tried desperately to have an impact on our lives but who sadly couldn't because the server helped...

My daughter had her wedding here this last weekend. The problems began long before the wedding. The emails were rude when we were attempting to just make sure everything would be as promised. We arrive and nothing was set up as discussed. We had to rearrange everything. The AC in the bridal dressing room did not work. Getting ready in a 80 degree room with a tiny fan they put in. The TV in the groom dressing room didn't work. There was no real sound system yet it was part of our package. No privacy curtain was set up for the ceremony as discussed. The tables were smaller than the ones we saw at the time of booking. The lights had some kind of issue and they would strobe sporadically (we asked) and they served alcohol to a minor. For the amount of money they are charging I recommend looking elsewhere. I'm glad we didn't get the catering package because who knows what would have gone wrong...

The venue manager went through several changes which was not well communicated with us. This lead to us having the same conversation multiple times. It was difficult to get an invoice as well (catering, bar, venue). However, the day-of experience made up for all of that. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I heard 1 bartender was rude but I didn't experience that (but I was the one in white lol). Despite thr challenges, they delivered the best day-of experience I could have imagined.
