0 stars. This place is CONSTANTLY hit or miss. It is incredibly inconsistent with not just the quality of the food but the quality of the service. I took my son here last night for some mussman curry (for me) and after we were seated (immediately), the entire wait staff was in the back (across from our table) talking about alcohol for 10 minutes (no joke, I clocked it) before someone finally looked up and asked if we were waiting on a to-go order. "No, we've been seated, and I'd love it if we could please have some service". After apologizing a waiter came over and said "I guess I can serve you". Great, thanks for doing your job. I place my order, Mussman curry (beef is fine) incredibly mild please (b/c the first time I had it it was INCREDIBLY spicy.) It was brought to me and after I had a bite I started choking..it was WAY too spicy. I spoke to my waiter who apologize and took it away. Then when it was brought back out I had to ask for it in a to-go container b/c now I HAD been here 30 minutes PASSED the time I expected to be and had to leave. I tried it before we paid for it and it tasted much better. However, getting home and after it getting cold needing to reheat it..the curry itself, was no longer a "sauce" but had almost solidified. Even after reheating it there's no liquid to it at all like it was when once presented. Ordering curry from here is a HUGE hit or miss. It's either incredibly soupy with some flavor, incredibly soupy with too much spice and no flavor, or incredibly soupy and a decent amount of flavor. only once did i get the curry that wasn't incredibly soupy, it was just thick enough the way curry is supposed to be. I'd go eat somewhere else if I were you. This place is...
Read moreWe went during a somewhat busy time of night on a Saturday, so we could understand waiting for a table. But while we were waiting the staff all seemed to be in bad moods and saying things that customers probably wouldn't want to hear before they have even been seated. Once we were seated we were only given one menu for the two of us, which is fine we could deal with that. We were told that they would find another menu and be right back. We also had no water glasses and we sat at a table staring at one menu waiting for someone to bring us another menu and water glasses and we had no less than 4 waiters/busboys walk past us. We sat unattended for over 15 minutes so instead of flagging someone down to even be greated and get water we calmly told the woman at the front that our table was now open again and they could seat someone else there because we would now be leaving. This review has no reflection of the quality or price of their food, but on their quality of service in which we were very less than impressed. Which is a shame because I was excited to try this place and had only heard good things. Again, it was understable for service to be a bit lacking during the height of the dinner crowd, but the staff felt so ill prepared it was like they had just opened. We literally watched 2 tables get seated after us and receive drinks and appetizers while we sat unacknowledged and unattended. Will not be giving them a second chance after we were immediately greated with poor attitudes and service, or...
Read moreA friend invited me as he said it is the best Thai food he has had in town. But, we weren't impressed and my friend who invited us was also disappointed. We ordered papaya salad, garlic calamari and garlic tofu (off the menu as my friend is a regular and a vegetarian). The garlic calamari was not warm when it was served. The papaya salad had no green beans or roasted peanuts and the garlic tofu was a bit over fried. The Thom Kha Gai soup was tasty and flavorful. For the mains we ordered a fried whole red snapper with the three flavors sauce. We asked for medium spicy but it tasted way too sweet just as the mussman vegetarian curry my friend ordered, even though they were both supposed to have been medium spicy. Kow Lard Nha Grapow was the tastiest dish we ordered. It had a good basil flavor along with other spices. The mango with the stick rice was average as it lacked the coconut milk drizzled on top. The green tea was not hot enough either. The service was slow as it seemed like they had only two servers working but the lady who served us did her best and she was friendly. Overall, a disappointing experience. According to my friend, they had an off day and requested me to give it...
