I Will absolutely never return. I dont care how good your product is, and will probably never know since I am no longer interested in trying it, if you do not have the most basic customer service skills I am not interested in doing business with you. I came to your store for the first time today and purchased two items. But as I have food allergies and you choose not to breakdown complex ingredients such as chocolate chips or list what major allergens a product contains, I was inclined to ask the cashier who,s name was apperantly Lesli according to my recipt, whether or not your chocolate chips contained milk. The response I got was an eye roll followed by "uh well its called milk chocolate so yeah" followed by her walking off without another word to me and yelling a coworker to watch the front. Well Leslie, no where on your label does it say anything about milk chocolate and most chocolate chips are actually semi sweet chocolate not milk chocolate. I fail to see why any company that would take the time to list ingredients would choose to exclude a breakdown of complex ingredients( for those who are unclear as to what a complex ingredient is think margarine and then think about how many different brands of margarine exist in your supermarket) or at the very least a list of common allergens. But if you are not going to list these things, and especially if you plan to charge seven dollars for a small loaf of bread, you should probably make sure your customer service lives up to...
Read moreThe last few times I've been here, I have not had as good of an experience since the place changed management approximately 2 years ago. I miss the old music, and miss the old staff that loved and genuinely cared about their customers. Today I was reminded why I don't come as often as I used to. Upon pulling in the parking lot, there was a staff member pulling a trash bin across the parking lot, smoking a cigarette....not exactly appetizing. The staff did not make me feel welcome, and walked right by me a couple of times before I was acknowledged and my order was taken. It almost made me wonder if I was too late for lunch (it was about 1:15pm). No samples were offered. After taking my order the lady said, "To go, right?" as if she didn't want me to stick around, which I corrected her and said I'd be dining-in. Then I realized I forgot to order a drink, but since I already paid, I just said I'd take water. Before I could even finish my sentence, the lady, seemingly annoyed, handed me a cup and said it was OK to help myself to whatever. My food was tasty, and the lady that brought it to me was cheerful. I know I'm reviewing this place with a very critical eye, because I absolutely loved the way this place was before. However, the last few times I've been in while under the "new" management, the place has missed the...
Read moreIt's like drinking coffee with a friend in her living room! The atmosphere is chill, and there are different areas so you can have some privacy, too. The coffee is good, and the pastries - the star of the show - are phenomenal! I've had the maple frosted scone (as delicious as it sounds) and the cinnamon chip scone, which was really tasty.
Also, their lunches are fresh, healthy, and good. I've had a wonderful salad with house made avocado dressing that I'd order again. I did give the service four stars instead of five, because it took quite some time to get our salad and sandwich. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal, but just have that be a realistic expectation for a better experience. I'm very glad I found this place - I look forward to visiting...
