Peachwave Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt — Local services in Wichita

We were heading to Orange Leaf for some frozen yogurt with the family but it turns out they were no longer in business on the east side of town. Found Peachwave on yelp and thought we'd give it a try. I usually only get tart and strawberry when I go with some mochi. I base most of my froyo experiences on those 3 things alone.

Going in, I thought, "Oh, this place looks nice." I walked towards the froyo and saw mochi as I walked by the toppings. So far so good. I went to look over the flavors as my little sister went to get some sample cups and was heartbroken. No tart. No strawberry.

I tried a bunch of other flavors and ended up getting orange and cheesecake. Not too bad. I went over to get the mochi and I could feel that they were kind of hard but sometimes that can be deceiving so I got some anyway. They had pink ones and white ones! I didn't even know they made that! So I got both. Both were hard. I had a few pieces that were soft and chewy but the rest were like eating stale marshmallows. Very disappointing.

Overall, it isn't bad. My family enjoyed it. I gave 3 stars because I went in expecting something and they didn't have it and what they did have...

I can't handle most ice cream do to the lactose, 😖 but for some reason yogurt🍦 doesn't affect me nearly as much. Not so the gelato. I recommend you stear clear of the gelato if milk is not your friend🚽. But thats ok, Peachwave has a good selection of both. They also have two sizes of cups, and dividers if you want to try two seperate mixes. I love the toppings and sprinkles to. They rock💎. In fact, you can even have rocks made of candy, if that's your thing. They are pretty tasty. There are lots of other toppings as well; crushed cookies and candy bars, gummies, nuts, cherries, chocolate or colored sprinkles and many, many more.😋 You should hit up some friends and go get you some right now. My husband and I both had an unpleasant experience just rn. We came in to get frozen yogurt. We were eating and my husband saw a black thing on his frozen yogurt. He pulled it out of his cup and it was a fly. We both threw away our cups because we were immediately disgusted. My husband told the gentlemen working and all we asked was for a refund. He said yes the manager on duty said she could only give us a refund on one cup because the fly was only on my husband’s frozen yogurt. Even though we both got the same exact thing. That is ridiculous and definitely isn’t good customer service. 0/10...
