Dannica Avendano, Regent Park Assisted Living’s Health Care Director, is the absolute BEST! I don’t even know where to begin. As the daughter of a resident, I have had lengthy meetings with Dannica on multiple occasions, regarding both paperwork & medical care (my mother has a unique medical issue), & she always gives 100%. She doesn’t just answer a question so that she can move on to the next & get things done. She truly puts thought into everything she says & does, & wants to make sure things are done correctly & thoroughly, “crossing ‘I’s & dotting ‘T’s, even when it causes more work for her. She is immensely organized, knowledgeable, respectful, caring & compassionate. Our medical community is over-worked, but you would never know it when talking to her. Read moreThe Regent Park employees are very good. My 98 year old mother was moved there in March of this year. She had been experiencing delusions and was moved for her safety. On weekends to supplement staff, agency people are used. For patients in memory care, this is not ideal: residents do not know them because there are different personnel involved and the people brought in do not know the residents and their issues.
