Dollar General — Local services in Williamston

Since this store has been "rearranged", it is horrible! You can barely fir a buggy down the isles, must less a buggy passing the opposite way. They always have so many boxes of stuff and random buggies parked everywhere, you can't even see half of what they have. On one visit, I had my buggy on the pet isle, trying to get supplies. There were 3 female employees just standing in the middle of the Isle talking. Didn't bother to move, stop talking, or even acknowledge me there. Couldn't even get all my stuff because they wouldn't move. On today's visit the line was horrible, there was only 1 register open. I asked the cashier if there anyone e who could open the other register to help her out. Told her that there were at least 8 people behind us (I was checking out), lined up half way through the store. This was at 4:30pm, just when alot of people are coming in after getting off of work to pick or 2 items up, and they have 1 register open! The girl called to the back of the store to get help, and got no answer. Nobody came to help her. I asked if they had cameras to see how backed up she was, she said yes. It didn't make any difference. She was still left by herself, apologizing to everyone behind me. It will be family $ for me. The staff at DG is rude also, not all of them, but...

If I could give a negative rating, I would!! The store NEVER opens at 8am as it's supposed to. The manager parks her car right at the front door.. when she finally arrives. The entire property is NASTY with dirt and grime. They never sweep the front sidewalk or put up stock. If you want to find anything, you have to dig through the boxes that came off the truck. Love this store! Always stocked well, the workers are super nice,& this is my favorite DG to go to out of all I've ever been to bc for 1 they carry a buttload of additional products Ive never seen in any other DG's. #2 - They stay open until 11pm every night of the week and ever other store Ive ever been to or around closes at 10.
