Ordered takeout. We were a bit nervous because of some of the reviews. BUT. This place didn't disappoint. I got the orange chicken. It was flavorful. Huge portion size. Came with an egg roll (def homemade, it was massive and DELICIOUS), and fried rice. Husband got general tsaus chicken. He enjoyed it, but it wasn't very spicy like your normal general tsaus.... But the owner told him the locals don't "like spicy" and that next time we try them, to tell her and she'll make it normal. So the owner tries to cater to the local community. We also got steamed dumplings. They were homemade as well, and tasted very good! The crab Rangoon, also delicious! Like a cream cheese filling with some crab. A little different but very good. Staff were all friendly from the person who answers the phone to take the order down to the cook. Took 20 min to get our order ready. Which is fast and the food was hot and fresh! The building seemed a bit run down, but those are usually some of the BEST places to eat! And again, this place didn't disappoint. Pricing is fair for the enormous amount of food you get, idk why others are complaining about the prices. Like my husband and I are foodies and we pry eat a larger amount than the...
Read morePagoda was better. I'll begin with the staff and environment. My waiter I got was actually really nice, besides being a little shy he was great. The owners (I am assuming) were actually a little rude, but really unprofessional. They has their two children running around playing very loudly, and at one point the man preparing my sushi had to dodge one of them while making my sushi. Now the food. It was nasty. My mom got chicken lo mein noodles and the California roll. There were 3 pieces of chicken in the whole dish, and the noodles tasted like celery water. They were also out of avocado so she couldn't actually get an actual "California roll". I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp, the spicy tuna roll, and the salmon sashimi(5.00$). I got 5 thumbnail sized pieces of of steak and three baby shrimp mixed in with the overload of carrots they used to "beef up" the dish. For 5 dollars I got two small cubes of salmon. The spicy tuna roll was actually decent. Total my family paid around 78$ to eat here and it was the WORST Chinese/Japanese food I've ever eaten. Will...
Read moreWe ordered a little bit of everything – cheese wontons (SO good I could’ve eaten the whole order myself 🤤), 8 Treasure Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Butter Shrimp, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. The cheese wontons were hands down my favorite – crispy outside, creamy inside, addictive as hell. The rest of the food held up just as strong, especially for the price point. Portions were generous, everything tasted hot and fresh, and it didn’t feel like that heavy “cheap takeout” vibe some places give off. On top of that, it’s affordable, which makes it even better. Definitely found a new go-to spot when I’m craving...
