Giant Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Willowick

I grew up in Euclid and getting my birthday cake from here was always a tradition. About 7 years ago, we moved to Medina. Let me just say, every Giant Eagle's bakery around us is awful; they usually can never get the orders right or the cakes taste like soap, and if you ask for extra flowers, you're getting maybe 3 small flowers on the entire cake with no leaves. However, this, THIS, Giant Eagle's bakery is AMAZING. We drive all the way out here from Medina to get our cakes from here. This particular Giant Eagle has the best bakery in Northeast Ohio, and I wish all the Giant Eagle's near us could be the same. The decorating here is always incredible, and they are never skimpy on the flowers and really put their all into creating cakes. Also, the cakes are delicious and never less than stellar. This will be the place that does my wedding cake. THANK YOU to this particular location for being the best bakery ever and for accommodating allergies. Thank you for never being skimpy or saying, "I can't do that" when it comes to decorating. We appreciate and have appreciated your creativity and effort for all these years. :) Also, shoutout to Carol in the bakery, she's incredible. Love this...

Just met with Angelina, the pharmacy director (?), from the Giant Eagle pharmacy and was shocked at how horrible she is! Honestly, she is the worst pharmacist I have EVER encountered... And guess what? I used to teach good customer service. But I would have FIRED her if she was one of my students! Horrible customer service.

Told the store manager about her insulting behavior, and am calling the Main Giant Eagle office, as well as University Hospitals to let them know how terrible I was treated.

Do NOT use the pharmacy! (...but the Giant Eagle -grocery- personnel are absolutely great!)

The pharmacy personnel really don't care about you or your medicine. And they do NOT ask for an insurance card, and will charge you full price.... Wh when I go into Giant Eagle Supermarket always have a wonderful time the food is always fresh the shirts are always that nice and neat the the employees are very nice pleasant very easy to talk to and talk with the produce section is always very nice the section where they baked him fry the fish or chicken or the food that you can take out with you to go it's always nice and easy and clean and I love that about John equals again I love the way the prices are pretty reasonable the food always look nice and fresh it doesn't look old or moldy or anything like that keeps me coming 2 John Eagles their flower section is very nice the fruit there was have their cereals and their canned goods in the frozen section and in the back where they sell the fresh meats is always look nice and need the person behind the counter is always very attentive to what you want their answer any question give you any advice I will recommend anybody to go to Giant Eagles keep up the good work John Eagles you have a customer that will continue coming back again and again and...
