If I could give ZERO star I would! Beware, this store is bogus! NO return policy. Nor, does management tell you when you are purchasing lawn equipment once you buy this and take it out of the box you can't return it.
I purchased a EGO POWER + POWERLOAD with LINE IQ 56-volt 16-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer on Sunday from the Manager who I explained that I was looking for something easy to use, I didn't want to fuss with string issues, or gas. He sold me the above model for $300.00. I get it home and tried it and first off it was difficult to put it together, second once it was together I tried it out and once you put that battery in it is heavy to walk around with. Second the string disappeared. I took it apart and brought it back to the store the same day and talked to the manager who sold it to me and he looked at me and said, I'm sorry, I can't take this back you opened it and tried it out. I said WHAT!?! I had it for 2 hours and returning it. Why didn't you inform me as a manager that ACE does not have a return policy on open items? Where is it posted over here? He told me I should have tried it out before I purchased it. How can you try it in the store when you have no batteries in the weedwackers? He didn't respond other than I am sorry you took it out of the box and tried it. Nothing we can do, it is store policy. You can call Angela DuBois, who is the owner, and see if she will do it. Angela has not called me back regarding this issue.

This is not my usual Ace Hardware, but I happened to be in the area. I was asked if I needed any help by a sales associate named Meredith. She was very patient, informative, and accommodating. She helped me figure out how I could hang antique photo frames flush against the wall with the addition of thick two-sided tape that wouldnât damage the wall or the frame. In addition, we had a pleasant conversation about our similar backgrounds. I am new to the Ohio area and she was VERY knowledgeable about various activities and sites I should visit including museums, parks, and historical sites. Meredith is a wonderful person and I can tell you that I will return to THIS Ace Hardware and look for Meredith to help me.    Read moreI'd ask management to review with staff the fact that some customers cannot wear a mask for health purposes. And that those customers do not have to disclose that fact. Then, you have your cashier touch and hand a provided mask from behind the counter, without sanitizing first, to that customer who is next in line, and had shopped the store for 30 minutes and nobody said a word. When the customer said, "Oh, no thank you", your cashier asked the customer to exit the store. No scene was created and the customer set items on the counter and left without a word, in lieu of having to disclose medical information in front of the 5 other customers in line, which could have cost your location a hefty fine.
