The back issue selection on comic books is the best in Wilmington. Jim always has something I want. There’s never a time when I walk in and he doesn’t have something new or cool to look at. Always conscious and aware of when I want to browse the stacks or when I want to have a conversation on a variety of topics. The store expansion made this place even more appealing and allowed for even more collectibles and comics and movies and figures to be displayed. I’m a comic guy but they’ve got toys, LEGO, Pokémon, movies, and so much more. Great prices and helpful friendly staff. You can’t go wrong. My kids LOVE this store. They make me take them every week or so because of the new stuff the owner is always getting in. Funko pops, comics, toys - the kids just picked up a lego set too! It's kinda cool that a shop like this exists here in Wilmington - kinda hoping this shop stays lesser known so that the prices stay reasonable. Kids now want me to take them to a pop culture event next weekend that this store is a part of (editing to add we just found out there's going to be a TACO 🌮 TRUCK at the event!!) - hey whatever gets them off their electronics!! I always try to stop in at comic shops when I’m on vacation and today I had the pleasure of going to Buried under Comics and Toys. This shop is great and Jim was an absolute pleasure to talk with. Very knowledgeable and made you feel like you’ve known him forever. Makes me wish I lived closer. Anytime I am in this area I will go out of my way to go to this store every chance I get.
