I earned my first amateur radio license about 9 months ago. HRO is my preferred choice. I have come to trust that they have reputable products, service is great if there is an issue, and the pricing is as good as a person can do. But this store amazes me because I can order something at mid-day in PA and it arrives from DE the very next day. Most of my items have had free standard shipping because I met the minimum. Incredible one day delivery time is what compelled me to leave this review for this store. Seldom do I need anything on short notice, but I love good service in a larger world that often doesn't...

I'm glad HRO made it through the pandemic.

Stopped down last month to pick up a Xiegi G90 to play with. Fun little radio...and I mean little. But it works great and was well worth the $430~

Harry was the guy I dealt with. Super nice and as always, the experience was pleasant. I was sort of bummed that the magazines were in short supply. I guess if I want to read QST I better rejoin the ARRL.

So not much to say other than I'm happy HRO is hanging in there, and that it's only about an hour south of me just a couple of minutes from I-95.

Next purchase is a DMR HT for Christmas!

Came in a few days ago and asked about a shortwave radio Grundig satellite 750 and was told they don't carry it anymore probably won't. Only later to be offered a lower price alternative that did not have the features I wanted. Walked around the store to browse around only to find what I was looking for not only did I find it they had 9 of them!!!!
