Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Delaware

I am a loyal customer of this establishment. I bring my friends here and recommend them. However Pedro Rojas, who claims to be the manager of this restaurant was very rude and nasty to me and it makes me question ever spending my money here again. He was a little rude on the phone but that may have just been a miscommunication. When I received my platter of spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread, I could not wait to eat it. When I got it home I did not enjoy it at all. I ate very little of the food, only a few bites. I was not pleased with the entree nor the garlic bread. I do have that right. I nicely walked to the counter and explained I just did not like it if I could please get a refund. Pedro, before I could get much of a word in, ripped open my bag of food and toss it in front of him with the meanest look of disgust on his face. He then accused me of putting too much Parmesan cheese in the food (I always enjoy a lot of Parmesan) he then said I see you come in here you did this before I know who you are. I've never had a problem with anything I have been served at this establishment. I nicely said sir, I am a loyal customer here and this type of treatment is unacceptable. I asked for the manager and he said it was him. I would like to speak to the owner of this restaurant. He made me feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable. He was trying to argue with me instead of listening to me and apologizing. He looked me up and down, he had the most disgusting look on his face then tried to laugh at me and walk away from the front register and into the back while I was speaking and explaining myself. I shouldn't even have to explain myself. I am a manager as well in the customer service industry. I never treat my customers the way he did me, even when I do not agree with them, even if they were being nasty. I am a very calm and peaceful person and for him to talk to a woman the way he did me is disgraceful. His attitude put such a bad taste in my mouth that the food I once loved from Pizza & Pasta will no longer be supported my myself...

I originally gave a 5/5 review but now I give them a 2 star. It may be a “minor” thing but the guy I spoke to over the phone was not nice at all. I usually always always substitute an item on a pizza for something else, and it’s never been a problem. Even if we could remove the olives from the pizza that’s fine, I just hate them on my pizza but love the works combo of the other veggies. When I asked the guy to sub pineapple for olives he rudely told me I had to take it up with DoorDash. But how is that up to DoorDash, you are the ones making the pizza( I also wouldn’t mind paying an up charge either, since I’ve done that for other places if I need to). I’m not trying to add more veggies or meats without paying more. I simply wanted to swap or remove an Item. Removing an item is saving them money since they charge 2.50$ per add on, on a pizza. When I was going to ask if we could just take the olives off instead of swapping it for another veggie he rudely cut me off. Also it looks like they put extra olives on there….I have ordered from this place over 20 times ordering over 60$ worth of food each time. I ordered 12 wings with cheese fries. The order went smoothly, the delivery guy was nice also. However when I received my order I was disgusted. Well, we gave it a try and it was horrible! The fries came out ok, the wings just down right disgusting, from the look down to the taste. I generally do not call to report a bad order from anyplace but this I was actually that disappointed that I called. I spoke with who I assume is the manager. I explained I was disappointed and offered to additionally send a picture of what I received, of course he declined and offered 10% off my next order. Now why would I place another order? I asked for a refund (granted this is the next day). I explained the fries and 4 wings are gone, He said he could not give a refund....
