In order for me to write this review, I had to give a star, but in reality, I give ZERO stars!! Reasons being I have never felt so uncomfortable while receiving services at a nail salon. My daughter and I, who are African American decendants, visited this salon for the first time. We weren't greeted the way that everyone else was greeted. Everyone ( including the Caucasian customers) were staring at us as if we did not belong in there. They talked about us in their language(we used Google translation). When we chose what service we wanted, the man started calculating what we owe (before services begin) in front of all the customers as if we couldn't afford to pay or like we was going to run out on them ( that was EMBARRASSING!!!). They did not do anyone else like that!!! I was so frustrated after the pedicure that I passed on getting a full set! After my daughter got her pedicure, the tech stuck out his hand for a tip, and so did the tech that did my pedicure because she saw my daughter hand me money to pay for my pedicure. We believe in giving tips, but they demanded it! Out of 47 years of my life, I have never experienced racism. Some of my best friends are Caucasian and I have love in my heart for EVERYONE!!! It's not good to judge a book by its cover!! We have nothing but GREATNESS in us. It doesn't matter if we were pink, purple, or orange. We are humans with feelings, and we are all the same. Rather, you want to accept it or not!! You all are no better than the next! Get to know people before turning your nose up at them!!! May God change the way you all view others. Humble yourselves because you will always reap what you...
Read moreI used to think very highly of this salon. Until i went to get my nails done last week and they came out bulky. did not take picture because of how upset i was i went to the salon because my nail girl was out and i decided to cheat on her and here are the consequences. she removed the set, and struggled to take it off as MMA was on my nails. WHICH IS TOXIC CHEMICALS FOR YOUR NAILS. It’s ILLEGAL. I also had multiple rings of fires on many of my nails. They also did not cut any of my cuticles. I will post a picture of how my nails were , which they’ve never looked like that. I got charged 55$ at this salon just to have MMA, something that’s illegal on my nails and for them to not even do a full manicure. They left many chips on my nails and a lot of polish under neath my nails. I do not recommend this place any longer. I would love to get my money back but I am completely positive that they will not give me my money back.
Reply: Unfortunately, this was at your salon. The picture I posted is SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT. My nails hurt so bad I had to take them to get removed. they looked bulky and it was a bad job. I wish i had pictures but it was so bad that i didn’t take any pictures. I never said the picture was at your salon. i said the picture was how my nails looked when they’ve never looked like that. During my soak off, it was jelly like. That’s MMA. it’s illegal. you all don’t want to take accountability for it. that’s...
Read moreI went to this establishment today to get a manicure and pedicure. It was VERY cold inside this establishment and to be fair this is probably one of the coldest days of the year so far but I never took off my coat bc of how cold it was inside this business. We started with the pedicure. I asked for the pedicure that was 37 dollars specifically bc it stated it came with a hot towel wrap. The lady did a decent job with my feet but never used the hot towel. She asked me to move to the manicure table and I did. I asked her if we just did the basic pedi bc I didn't get the hot towel wrap. One of the possible owners steps in and begins almost yelling at me and saying I did get it and would pay full price for pedi. I did not argue with them. I paid the 37 dollars and went to a different business for my manicure. Long story short I know I didn't get the hot towel bc I was waiting for it so I could have a little slither of warmth. The guy who took my payment said she wiped my feet with a hot towel but they don't wrap it around the legs. She wiped my feet for about 1 second each with a Luke warm towel. If that is their definition of a hot towel wrap then OK. But I was prepared to spend probably 80 dollars on nails and then leave a generous tip. They got the 37 dollars, no tip and lost a good customer. All I wanted was the price on my pedi adjusted from 37 to 30 dollars. And I wasn't even being...
