Walgreens — Local services in Wilmington

Even between 8:32pm and 8:54pm EST (as was the case this past Friday, November 8, 2024), cashier's and other associates who are normally on duty especially into then during the said time period within weekdays are superbly professional, very typically effective in their efforts, quick to be accurate then maintain great accuracy, and are both helpful (in some cases extremely so) and very friendly at Walgreen's Drugstores No. 11006 (the 2219 Concord Pike, Fairfax Shopping Center, of Wilmington, DE 19803, combination Store and Pharmacy [too bad that the said Pharmacy within the said Store is closed nightly, almost doubtlessly effective at 8pm, nowadays])! Household paper supplies, rubbing alcohol and other first-aid products, and most groceries were abundantly in stock; the only desired food -- specifically snack or dessert -- item which was not to be seen or therefore found was the usually 2.375-oz.- to- 4-oz. bagful of Quaker Rice Crisps. The above main reality and superabundance of reasonable prices of items as well as extreme accuracy, professionalism, friendliness of interaction, and - shockingly, especially in spite of staff shortages in said Store during and after the 8pm hour -- alacrity of and during checkout all made very easy to purchase more than what was initially planned and/or...

This Walgreens is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. This one girl that is a pharmacy technician, she looks to be in her mid-30s and has brown hair which she keeps in a ponytail, is ALWAYS so miserable. I have overheard her on several occasions bad mouthing customers and rolling her eyes and giving people dirty looks, so incredibly unprofessional. Also, there is a pharmacist named Kristen Nicholson who I have dealt with on several occasions that is also SO MISERABLE, rude, and she would discuss patient's confidential information with them at the consultation window very loudly so everyone else there could hear it. She always has a bad attitude, and seems to go out of her way to inconvenience customers. I can't believe this Walgreens is still...

I had a really disappointing experience at this Walgreens thanks to one rude staff member. I was just trying to pick up medication for a poison ivy rash, and only one part of the prescription was showing. I had to call my doctor three times to resend the script, and the pharmacy staff offered zero help. When I finally had my doctor call them, the medication suddenly & quickly appeared. I asked if everything had come through the system and the woman scoffed and said, “Yeah, oddly,” in a condescending tone—like I was doing something shady or suspicious by just trying to get treated.
