I just had worst experience dealing with Allan the store Manger. Who was very dismissive and condescending. I purchased bedroom set and was told that I had two days to pick it up which pushed it to the Saturday or Sunday. I informed them that I can pick it up Sunday.
They stated that will be fine, however when I go to retrieve the item today, I was informed that they donât do pick up on Sundays by Allan, he stated very matter of fact I donât know what Arthur told you but we donât.
I explained the other Manger on duty, stated it would be fine. He then proceed to say âWell Iâm going to have to talk to him about thatâ I guess power trip..
Now Arthur was very sincere with his apology about the confusion and even offered to break down the set.
Allen looked at him and said no, explaining staffing issues and why hutch the warehouse guy didnât break it down Friday and next time donât leave him a note tell him personally.
Now Iâm frustrated at this point because I donât care about the staffing issues, when I explained that I have the movers here n now Iâm going to have to pay the twice at $125 Allan look at me with a smirk and said oh come back tomorrow.. After I explained to this rude unprofessional manger that wasnât a option
I did the next best thing and walked out before I made French fries out of his Mr. Potato Head look a$$, if he wouldâve got off his phone and really tried to assist me. I could have my bedroom set now and not have to sleep on floor tonight, since I painted and gave alway the other bedroom set this morning.. If the price wasnât so good I wouldâve cancelled whole order..
I hope the regional manger see these because Allan really ainât want to...

2 weeks after it being delivered the table went on sale- which was unfortunate as we had been eyeing this table since November. It was on for 1500 but went back up to 2000 and now back down again for 1500. We called to see about a price match as their policy states they will price match within 30 days. The store owner said to call customer service that he cannot do doing anything since the table has been delivered. Customer service said to call the store owner. Clearly they don't stand by their policies. We ended up paying 2300 dollars for a table- had I just waited 2 weeks I could have said over 500$. Really annoying.
Another thing I don't understand is the store manager told me if it had not been delivered yet he could change the price? I am not asking for a new table set. I am asking for a price change in regards to your policy listed on your website. The table will remain the same. Delivered or not delivered you should be honoring the price change- I am keeping the same table not asking for a refund or a change in product. Ridiculous.
We were looking to purchase a couch with them as well but I will take my business elsewhere. Unfortunate because I have been a long time Ashley customer in Canada and the US. I have spent at least $20,000 there in the last 5 years. Not anymore.

   Read moreWe went in June 2021 to order a mattress set and a bed. At first we were treated wonderful. The only person there with excellent customer service skills is Adrian. Heâs wonderful! Thatâs the only thing I can say great. On another note here it is February 2022 and we have yet to receive our furniture. We had been lied to by their customer service team. In June 2021 we were told by Miranda that we would receive our bed between August 2021-September 2021. They have never contacted us. It was always us contacting Ashley for a estimated date of arrival. Still no date. We have been in store 6 times and have called customer service a million times. Still no date. We had been told that they have all our pieces but our footboard. We walked in store last week only to be told they donât have anything. Thatâs itâs a possibility that our furniture didnât pass quality inspection. My question is how didnât it pass quality inspection if you recently had all merchandise except our footboard. Then the representative in the store gave us a date of February 8 for delivery. Only to call and find out it has been pushed back to mid April. I spoke with the manager a while back and he offered me a discount but at this point I donât even care to do business with them. If youâre looking for furniture, this is not the place to go unless youâre planning on moving in 2 years. I had to give them 1 star to leave a review but if I could leave none I would!!
