Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Wilson

Me and my better half decided to try this Chipotle about a week ago. They we fast, friendly and it was good eat.

It was located right off a main road in Wilson so getting back on the road wasn't a problem.

Me and the wife walked into this location to get a veggie bowl and a chicken burrito.

I wanted to use two of the free entree codes we were given by head office. They were scanned the employee said they were not popping up. She asks me what they are and I explained to her that they are redeemable entree vouchers from a horrible experience at a Chipotle in Virginia. So says try again and I do so. They still don't pop up. At this point I've scanned both of them. The codes are good for 30 days and I'm only 13 days in on them.

She calls the manager and they do something manually to make them work. But at this point I'm told that I'm only able to use one of them per order. We're both confused, as I'm told by head office they are redeemable wherever and however within 30 days.

The problem on top of that is I've scanned both of them. So now I've lost one of the free entree codes because it's been scanned as though it's been redeemed. The employee's response to my statement is to call the head office and talk to them about it - not to honor the second free entree code given by them.

My wife is even more frustrated. Her veggie Bowl was supposed to come with guac and apparently they've ran out of it.

Our last few experiences with Chipotle have gone from normal to horrendous to normal to confusingly frustrating. I'm over it. The food at this location is good but I think we'll stick to other fast casual...

Walked in, no greeting. Service was slow as hell. I wanted white rice and they "didn't have anymore". Really? It was like 8-830pm... so I had to get brown rice, and wasn't even cooked all the way. It was gritty and grainy. Very disgusting. I would have complained but it was take out and I was home. I almost threw it in the trash...you used to offer a military/veteran discount and now all of sudden there isn't one anymore? Thanks so much for screwing service members out of any benefits for putting their lives on the line so you have a job and a business. Additionally, I asked for half chicken and half steak and they charged me for double meat. My bowl is normally 9$ and change and this was like 13$. What a rip off, let down, and complete waste of my money. I will never eat here again. As this isn't the first time I've had issues with this location. Waiting over 20 minutes in the drive thru last time, for an order that was placed ahead and marked for pick up and that it was ready, but it wasn't? Pitiful and I don't appreciate my time being wasted and basically lied to. Should be ashamed. Your employees need to learn how to smile and greet guests. If this my place of business I would fire them in a heart beat...I'm sure I'm wasting more time as write this, but why not try! Something has to be done about...

1/23/22 It was my very first time trying chipotle. Wanted to see why it was so popular. Verdict: it ain’t all that.

Store seemed cleaned when we came in. It wasn’t busy. I got the 3 tacos (chicken, pork and barbacoa) with the spicy red sauce. I was surprised that they put rice in the taco and asked if I wanted beans in too. Wut? Isn’t that just a burrito then? The only meat that had flavor was the chicken, tasted like smoked chicken. The pork had some flavor too but the barbacoa was gross. Had no flavor at all. My fiancé got the burrito and didn’t realize that the guacamole and cheese was extra. We spent 30 bucks. Sure the food seems like fresh but no flavor at all. Staff was decent. Bathroom was clean. I like trying new places. Crossed chipotle off the list. Won’t recommend it unless you wanna taste an...
