Affordable Suites Wilson — Hotel in Wilson

Me and my family stayed here for 2 months and did not have a pleasant experience. The room was clean and in good condition but the manager Mrs MARSHA was over the top annoying and disrespectful instead of making our transition smooth she made it more stressful we were not only worried About finding a place to live but we also had the stress of having a roof over our head & our privacy invaded constantly knocking on our door telling us to move cars back and forth “that certain ppl had assigned parking spots” but that was never mentioned upon check in. She told us multiple times we had to check out one time she said “someone else” had booked our room and we had to check out. (Which made no sense to me why would we get out & someone else go in when we’d nearly been there for two months at that time) When we told her we wanted corporates number she made up some story about us getting a free week and she’d find another room to accommodate us in. Then she Came back saying nvm that the ppl weren’t coming anymore and we could stay but the free week was a misunderstanding. then In two days when I went down to pay she told us again in her words “ I’m going to have to ask that you make this your last week” I honestly didn’t even want to argue with her so I just agreed. Traveling for work. Pros-My favorite part of my stay was the grounds and space in the room. The manager does great on the up keeping, there's also plenty of room to walk your pet on and around the area. If you travel for work or in-between homes this place has everything you need and the space is great you're not all cramped like in a hotel.|Cons-| Don't get locked out more than once you may get charged if it's after hours.|Cleanliness could be better, floors were dirty upon check-in I drop a water bottle a wiped it up and they paper towel was black luckily I never walk bare foot. Baseboards and walls were super dusty like they never get wiped down.|Furniture is a little outdated and the mattress in my room I could feel the springs which made for many restless nights tossing and turning trying to get comfortable.|I'm not a Karen and for the price and location I couldn't say much and complain. Terrible service. I was with my husband in this hotel for almost 2 months and during this time they only changed the sheets 3 times and my husband was charged for the entire week of the room. Every Monday we decided to change hotels on the same Monday and they had already charged the entire week. My husband went to talk to the hotel manager and she told him that she would refund him in 6 days, which she did not. My husband went 3 days later to complain and she told him that in 5 to 6 days it would be there, which she never did. Now the manager comes out and says that after 1 week they did not make a refund. What is happening with this woman? They should change the manager. More than 400 dollars of loss for us. This woman is a scoundrel. How did she keep our money? She did it with actions designed to make my husband wait for the said refund to tell him that after a week they would not make a refund when her duty was to make the refund that same day.
