This store is beautiful, neat and new. What precludes me from giving this store a 5-star review is the fact that they had supply chain issues before the pandemic that have been made worse with the pandemic. They can't keep anything in stock. Also, watch your dairy closely - I've been sold a gallon of milk with an expiration date that matches the day that I bought it when I noticed it when I got home. They keep the milk with later expiration dates out back. The bakery has all but given up and doesn't make any cookies anymore - their best feature that they sold in the bakery. Also, their produce section is a bit of a joke. If they have something, it can look pretty questionable in how long it might last and their selection is almost non-existent. I almost feel like they threw up their hands in defeat when it comes to produce. They excel with canned foods, packaged foods and their prices for meats of all types. Generally speaking, the quality is great and although I've been sold dairy that was on it's way out, I've never been sold meat in a similar way and that's why I keep going back. The middle section of the store used to be a real treat because you'd never know what you would find in that section, but since the pandemic began this section has for the most part been a disappointment with a lot of the same items or whole sections that were without anything. Over time this has improved. If you want to get through the place in a reasonable amount of time, learn how to scan and bag your own groceries if you haven't done so before. You're on your own with bags unless you buy them so bring your bags from home. Do be sure to visit the chocolate treats sections where a lot of European chocolates are sold for below typical market costs. If you have a sweet tooth they have some stuff for you! Update 2023: Lidl is rapidly and aggressively expanding to the detriment of the stock supplies of existing stores. It's a shame because it sends the wrong signals about Lidl as a chain. Also, is anyone happy who works there? It's like this is an EAST German grocery chain, lol. Seriously, nobody ever seems happy, just exhausted and exasperated and really tired of dealing with the entitled 2023...

To be honest, I like this store chain. I like the prices and the fact that I can get things here I can’t get at other stores. The stores are always clean. You can get a. lot of good deals here.

However, this store in particular is awful and for one specific reason: They don’t care about food safety. Multiple times, I bought beef and when I got it home, it smelled completely rotten. I check the sell by date and it’s not for a whole week. This means that either the store isn’t keeping the meat properly refrigerated, or something’s wrong with the dates. Never had this issue with the Lidl in Lansdale, so I’m assuming something isn’t being done correctly at this store. How else would a steak that says it’s good until the 13th be rotten by the 6th? Unacceptable. The store would rather sell the rancid meat and hope nobody actually returns it than make sure their customers are safe. If it happens once, it’s a mistake. If it happens twice, something is wrong and considering it’s happened twice within the past three months alone to the same person is...

This place is great. European brands are fanfreakintastic! Lucky for me I knew about some of these brands and their great quality. As far as the dairy and meats go I haven't really looked into it except for lunchmeat and cheeses which are BAR NONE the best prices in the county and great quality. There are cured meats & cheeses here I can't find anywhere else except NYC. There are some real gems in the shelf food, paper products, frozen foods, floral, housewares, and bakery. Who knew mini almond Biscotti could contain that many beautiful clean whole almonds with such a lovely texture? And jar pasta sauce that is darn near equal to what takes me a good penny on imported San Marzano canned tomatoes and all day to make!? Yes this place is fabulous and I love it. I did take away one star because I haven't had much luck with the produce here. Did i say the prices are AWESOME!!! YET? Well just in case...The prices are AWESOME! Take a trip to this wonderful new store, I guarantee you'll find something u love here. Don't forget to be adventurous and try...
