The Home Depot — Local services in Winchester

This is a very mixed review on this home depot. The employees have always been helpful and good to work with in the past. I recently got a new 2000 dollar washer and dryer set from here and was informed they dint have anything in stock first of all it takes two weeks to receive one. Any other time I wouldn't have had a issue with this but due to my circumstances it was a problem I asked the lady to sell me floor models she refused to saying she just got them set up for a floor display and it would take two weeks to fill the hole. Which I didnt understand of this was my store customer should come.first especially spending this kinda of money we bought two sets this day one we are waiting for 2 weeks I must say which in my eyes is ridiculous I can have stuff shipped to Afghanistan faster then that. The other we need asap the women found one they had still boxed she would sell we took it. In our home we need a stackable and this was the one but they of course didnt have the stacking.kit with it which blew my mind another two weeks wait for this aswell. Amazon does better then this the lady continues to tell us oh its fine take em home stack use them like normal they will be fine well we listened and was happy my wife was happy about this new washer well now the 2000 dollar washer had gauges and cuts all in it because one little load of laundry shook the dryer so bad it has fallen half way messed up our dryer and it because we listened to the manager saying they stack them.with out the kits all the time wrong information has cost us a headache now still waiting in the stacking kit upset the new washer is screwd up we are very mixed about this whole situation and honestly home depot is sucking with the shipping and wait time on such a common item it blows my mind. I don't normally do reviews, but hopefully they will see this and implement some changes. I visited this store on 7/2/20 to get a new exterior door and supplies for installation. When I went to the millwork department there was no one there. So I found the door I needed myself, but couldn't find a cart. Not once did any of their employees ask me if I needed help. Everyone rushed past me as if they were trying to avoid helping. I walked the entire store to try to find a cart for my door but couldn't find one. At this point I had spent about 40 minutes in the store with ZERO interaction with an employee. So I decided to carry my door to the front myself. When I started to pick up the door I noticed it was damaged. The only other one they had in stock was on the top shelf. Obviously I couldn't get it myself at that point. So I continued to look for help. When I finally found someone to help they said they had a neck injury and couldn't get the door for me. Why in the world would you have an employee covering millwork who cant lift a door? So after another 15 minutes she found someone to come help. This person didn't ask if I needed help finding a cart or loading the door or anything. He got the door off the top shelf and left. He didnt say a word. So I picked this door up and carried it to the front myself. Still no cart. Still no assistance. After being there over an hour getting ignored I was pretty frustrated. If Lowe's was closer I would never step foot in this home depot again. They need to get rid of 90% of the employees and hire people who want to work. If I was the store manager here, I'd be embarrassed at how these employees treat...

I bought a kitchen countertop I told them I wanted a built-in splash board for it ,I wind up picking out the solid countertop had no idea that it didn’t have the built-in splash board. Nobody told me anyways I got it installed today and it wasn’t what I expected. It was like a two piece countertop. They put the countertop down and then they put pieces up against the wall and silicone on there.now my sink has no splash board I called and complain to Francis don’t think she was listening to well but the group out of Gallatin, Tennessee, that installs the solid countertop They was very rude and said it was common sense and I’ve never bought a countertop in my life I even told Francis that they was rude She was supposed to call me back today, but she never did This is after I spent $2000 , lesson learned so watch out buying the solid countertop no built in splash board and even the guy that came out to measure it said I didn’t say I wanted a built in splash board which was another lie , (updated I talked to manager today super nice guy he tried to make...
