Iâve never had a worse experience at a nail salon. I went in with glued tips onto my natural nail with dip on top that had grown out. I simply asked the man to remove the dip and glued tips and do a basic manicure on my nails with regular polish. He talked me out of regular polish, because it would chip. I knew that, but I appreciated his honesty and took his recommendation to keep it plain. To remove the glued tips, he took toe nail clipper and clipped off the dip covered tips. Not only did this remove the tips, but it cause the dip to crack and rip off along the edge as he did it some causing discomfort. I explained to him that it was uncomfortable, and he kept going on about his business. Finally, to remove the dip, he took an artificial nail and pushed it up under each dip coating on my nail to remove it - ouch!!! Iâve never been anywhere where they donât at least start by soaking them off. It hurt, and i could feel the top layer of my nail being stripped away with it. His response to me was âquickest way to get them off.â I told him i couldâve done what he was doing at home, but i cared most about him doing what was best for my nail. He replied with nothing. He ended up splitting my pinky nail from the roughness. I was so frustrated with this experience, but even worse, he changed nothing about the service to me when I explained my concern for how he was doing it, the pain he was causing and what he was doing to my nail. I was still asked to pay after such a...
Read moreOkay, so to start this review off I just want to say I normally donât do reviews but this has infuriated me. I made an appointment for 3:45 I got there roughly 10 minutes early and I wasnât seen until 4:15 pm, I understand things happen but they were rude from the start about what nails I wanted, I didnât want dip I wanted acrylic and on their website it says acrylic is based at $50. She told me that French tip was an extra $5, how In the world did she come up with $70 for a short French. I donât know. I also asked to take my service else where and it was almost like she forced me to stay. She didnât prep my nails by board rules, I was in cosmetology so I would know. She sanded and trimmed that was it. This is where things go wrong, sheâs doing the service and continues to say âyou just donât understandâ or âyour not getting it girlâ and her first language wasnât English so it was definitely hard to understand, I found it very rude that I was spending hard earned money for a service Like that. As Iâm about to leave, keep in mind Iâm pregnant. She grabs my shoulders HARD, and says âthat wasnât so badâ and thatâs when I had enough. I just thought this should be heard because all of that was kinda traumatic. Nails came out decent but...
Read moreI have been going to the place since it opened and have normally only ever had good things to say, but today I was very disappointed. To start off I should say that my daughter and I got the dip powder and hers still looks great... I got the dip nails on a Saturday, not what I asked for, I wanted acrylics and was told this was healthier for nails, and by day 3-4 there was some really noticable cracking under the top coat . I have never had this happen and called to see if it was normal. I was told to come in and they could fix them. I get there and at least 4 of my nails had cracks. I was treated very rude by the owner and told that there was only one that needed fixing but it was my fault that it was cracked... I "must have picked up something heavy" and that the crack was in my nail. It's not. After him telling me repeatedly that there was only one the needing fixing and the others were cracks in the top coat, I just asked if he could remove the dip powder. To his credit when I asked how much I owed him he said $0. Will this stop me from ever going back? I don't know. I have never had a problem...
