One of the worst services I have ever received. My wife toddler and I went here cause we used to enjoy the former restaurant there. We were seated promptly and our drinks orders were taken. As it was a new menu we looked over the option and asked the waitress for a little extra time. Once she was there to take our order I had already finished my drink and the wife had almost drank half hers. The waitress never acknowledged the near empty glasses but took our order. We proceeded to not see our waitress for another twenty minutes in the mean time our order arrived with my wife's being incorrect. My toddler enjoyed her food but I waited hoping we would see the waitress to get a quick fix and continue our meal mistakes happen. Instead both our food got cold. My toddler finished her plate of food before we saw the waitress. The waitress proceeded to try to say The wife ordered her food wrong until she looked at her pad and apologized and offered to correct it. It took another ten mins to get the item removed from our meal and to get our check. To add to the annoyance of tonight their food prices are much higher than others around. I will simply go to Jardin in cowan or las margaritas if I want Mexican food I advise you to...
Read moreWe love Mexican food and will happily eat it multiple times a week so of course we had to give this place a try. First the good. The service was wonderful and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The resultant itself was clean and laid out well. Now for the bad. The food itself was very “ok” for the price. They charge at least 3-4$ more on things including tacos than many others in the area. Which is fine if the quality and flavor of the food was worth it. This was not. The salsa had a strange flavor, a combination of raw tomatillo and chlorine. The salsa picosa had the same chlorine taste. My chicken dish was bland (pollo loco I think was the name). The guacamole also bland. Husbands food had a red sauce and it had that same weird underlying flavor the salsa had. The best dish we had was the cheesy chicken and rice, Il give them that. The cheese sauce was tasty. As far as Mexican restaurants go this one was our least favorite we’ve tried...

The carnitas were some of the most flavorful I have had, and the taquitos were cooked perfectly - that crunch!
The only thing I will say as critical of our meal is that the corn tortillas for the Tacos Carnitas (not an item we found on the menu, but was made at our request as they offer a carnitas plate) were thicker than what we were used to, and chewier as a result.
I'm not sure what the weekends are looking like for this business, but business was very slow on a Thursday evening. The liquor license has been applied for, so I'm sure that more will follow once they begin to serve. Do yourself a favor and give this business a shot the next time you're...
