Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Windsor Heights

This has been my go to Dairy Queen for many years. Went to have pumpkin pie blizzard with great anticipation. Was very rudely told by the young man at The register that they weren’t serving pumpkin pie blizzards because they had too much ingredients left of other blizzards that they had to sell before they could have the pumpkin pie blizzard. No, I’m sorry. No I hope you’ll come back. No nothing. I did come back and they still did not have the pumpkin pie blizzard. Constantly changing. Did have kids meals, now they don’t. Don’t honor the app deals nor rewards from app. Only offer hot dogs, but now their “kitchen” is only open until 6:45?! It’s light until 9 now. We got there at 7pm ordered ice cream first, bc who doesn’t :) then after they got done make our ice cream I told them how many hot dogs and were turned down. At 7pm?!? We eat late because we are busy with kids sports until late. We had to drive to another Dairy Queen to finish our order. I should know better with the Windsor heights Dairy Queen! Gotta give props where props are due. One wouldn't necessarily think that a trip to a Dairy Queen for a chocolate malt would necessarily rate a 5-star review, but these folks nail it each and every time and it is both appreciated and worthy of note. Very friendly and congenial staff each and every time I go in there and it is refreshing. In a service industry where apathy and ho-hummery all too often reign supreme, I wanted to give a shout out to this team and their ownership.
