Chapter 2 Books — Local services in Winona

I visited this bookstore with my daughter on a Saturday morning, just after Valentine’s Day, and it was a nice experience. The shop had a quaint atmosphere, with a great selection of books, comics, and music material to browse through. There were a few other customers, but it never felt crowded—just the right balance of lively and peaceful.

One charming surprise was the store cat! We noticed a sign in the window mentioning it, and sure enough, we spotted the adorable feline wandering around, adding to the shop’s cozy charm.

Overall, we had a wonderful time exploring the shelves and left with great finds. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to discover...

My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and stopped in Winona for a late lunch, then drove through downtown a bit. "I want a weird little bookstore," I said, and Chapter 2 Books provided.

There's a local author section, a robust sci-fi fantasy section, and my favorite, a lovely case jammed full of antique and vintage books.

Best of all, the cat. He came to greet us while we browsed and was extremely friendly, accepting pets and compliments on his long and whippy tail. When I sat down to provide a lap, he took it. 10/10 used...

It's always a pleasure to visit this bookstore. The atmosphere is perfect for books. The owner is very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. The books are in great condition, there are so many treasures. I love the new place, it's really wonderful to have a place like this in downtown Winona. Every time I visited, I was treated kindly and came out happy with my books. There is also a big selection of CDs (music).
