Walmart Auto Care Center — Local services in Winston-Salem

I went for an oil change and the tech ripped off my water guard that protects my engine from debris, water ect. He didn’t tell me until I saw it in my trunk. He refused to put it back on and stated it was already like this which was not true since I had driven 7 hrs to Winston Salem and if it hanging I would’ve heard it and the plastic piece would’ve been ruined. I took it to get looked at and the shop told me they ripped it off the plastic nail pieces and that the nails was still there in place and to take it back. After talking to the store manager he told me to bring it back and they will fix it. They did yet when I needed a new oil change I got it done at another location In Newport News, Va and they did the same thing. I’m not about to keep taking my car to get this piece replaced due to Walmarts Auto Care team. They have to remove the guard to get to the oil filter ect. Now I’m about to complain to Corporate since they refuse to fix it and I will never return to their...

DO NOT COME HERE. I took my mustang here to get a tire change and one of the associates decided it was a GREAT idea to test drive my vehicle by revving my vehicle so loudly over and over, we can hear it while in the waiting room. No one even cared and acted like this is how they normally treat their customers vehicles. The associate did not apologize and was actually smiling when we were leaving. I understand you have to do a quick test drive but that was absolutely disrespectful and he KNEW he did not need to do all that once we got out there. I’m sure this how they normally treat everyone’s vehicles so do NOT come here for any kind of service. They also threw my spare tire in my trunk and broke my trunk tire...

Called at 6 about getting new tires, was told they were backed up for the night (they close at 7). Went anyway, got there at 6:30, not a single vehicle in sight, they were mopping and closing down the tire area. Still went in to purchase the tires, the young lady made sure to tell us that they would not change the tires (I had a flat and all that I needed was for them to put the old rims on the new tires, takes 10 minutes), despite the fact they still had 30 minutes to closing time...I understand it's Friday and you're tired, but lying to the customer about how busy you're are and closing shop up 30 minutes early is bad...
