I frequent this chick fil a, and normally have zero issues. However, apparently corporate is not so on the ball. I decided to try paying via the chick fil a one app about a week ago. I added $10 to my account via paypal, paid for my order, and all was well - or so I thought. Two days later, a 2nd $10 was taken from my paypal account, without my knowledge or approval. I contacted customer service via email. Several days later, I finally received a response saying I should contact my financial institution to get a refund, they only show one $10 deduction from my paypal account. I reply, and send screenshots of the two different transactions. They are obviously two different debits for several reasons. 1. - they occurred two days apart and 2.- the first one took $3 and some change from my paypal balance and the rest from my bank, and the one two days later took the full $10 from my bank account. I fail to see how it is my banks fault or PayPals fault if chick fil a initiated the debit. Chick fil a insists they only received $10 from me even though I sent very clear proof that they deducted $20. After speaking with 3 different reps from chick fil a, I'm done. Totally done, and will not be returning to any chick fil a. I know this isnt this particular stores fault, and I'm sorry to them for this bad review, but I want others to know what happened. You can keep that $10 chick fil a, and I'll be praying for YOU. Fradulantly debiting peoples account and keeping the money isnt very Christian like. Be forewarned before giving chick fil a access to any of your...
Read moreI will never visit this location again. Recently, my fiancé and I went through the drive-thru and gave our order(s) to an attendant who was standing outside with the iPad they use to charge card-paying customers. The attendant swiped my card and we proceeded to the drive-thru kiosk, where we were told the order did not go through and she would have to swipe my card again, which she did. I immediately checked my bank account online and realized I had been charged twice for the same meal. We went inside to speak with a manager about removing the extra charge. The manager on duty stated that the attendants with iPads are not able to actually charge customers for their orders...this was her excuse for my card being swiped twice. She said the additional charge would “disappear” in a timely manner and that the extra charge was just “pending.” However, my online bank account NEVER displays charges until they go through. Pending charges DO NOT show up on my account. I was offended by the manager’s condescending tone, and the fact that I had to further explain myself to finally receive a refund for the additional charge. The extra charge is STILL on my account at this moment, so clearly it’s not “pending...” I go to the drive-thru at this location all the time and I’ve never had to swipe my card twice, so I believe the manager was trying to cover for the drive-thru attendant’s mistake rather than accomadate me, the customer. I won’t go to this location again, and I would advise anyone who does to avoid the drive-thru and never let an employee there swipe...
Read moreMy family and I stopped here later this evening (08/30/2024) while on a trip. We were traveling with two toddlers, whom were very ready and excited to get out of the car. We went in, waited in line, ordered our food. While waiting for our food, my toddler noticed a table mat that she always sticks on the table for her food, it was actually placed over a trash bin to keep customers from using that trash. My 2 year old knows what they are actually used for, they are place mats for children’s food, we use them all the time at different chick fil a locations. My two year old went to grab the place mat that was taped at the top of the trash bin and an older chick fil a employee working in the dining room yelled at her from across the restaurant telling her to “STOP! DON’T DO THAT!!”. She publicly embarrassed my two year old. My mom was attending my child at this time but also had my other child, while I was ordering. The same chick fil a employee then came behind the counter while I was ordering and spoke to the employee taking my order, rolling her eyes and shaking her head while talking about my two year old “tearing her stuff up.” The whole situation made me upset. I understand we all have bad days, it was later in the evening/night, this employee was probably ready to go home. What harm was my child really doing by getting a place mat for her food, she was unaware the mat was taped there to keep people from using that trash. This employee could have easily just replaced that one with...
