IHOP — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

After arriving with a wait, no biggie. Put are name in, had a party of nine. Now everyone knows it's harder to seat larger party's so we take that into consideration, but after waiting 35 minutes and not once being asked if we'd like to sit maybe in the same area but at separate tables. We watched the hostess staff go through 2 1/2 waiting room full of customers while all the time bypassing our group. If we hadn't had people meet us there we probably would have left after simple asking one of the hostess what was happening and she had an attitude that we asked. People that hate there jobs that much should work with the public. Then once seated. Took forever to get our food, the waiter brought like 2 meals at a time with about 10 minutes in-between, then left 1 party member without any food for quite awhile. Then the waiter had food in his hand that belonged to one person at our table and was so confused he left the table with the food and we had to tell him to bring it back. Not sure what their problem was that day but not much for recommending....

The place including bathrooms were very clean which I really appreciated. The staff was nice. Blueberry pancakes were amazing. I would order them again in a heart beat. I ordered eggs scrambled extra well done. Typically when I say this I'll get a little bit of brown on the eggs-which is the way I was wanting them. My eggs were barely done at all and were so greasy with what I'm assuming was butter. I couldn't really eat them :(. I've been a million places and ordered eggs the same way and I've never had eggs so greasy there was butter running along the outside of the plate. Definitely was not good. It was about 1.5 hours before they closed and you could tell they made more sweet tea because it was warm (which is fine because that's how you brew tea) but it had MAYBE less than quarter of the sugar in it that sweet tea should have. And with only 4 soda selections, I'm sure they go through a lot of tea. No Dr Pepper or Mr Pibb :(. Overall I would go back because the blueberry pancakes were delicious. I will just...

oh man IHOP is one of my favorite places to eat I love IHOP the pancakes are delicious the eggs are good if you want a omelet it's great I mean crepes I mean anything is great and now IHOP is serving hamburgers which my husband likes he likes hamburgers I like the breakfast food I have been in there with just myself before and ate and I ate too much but if it's so good and if you want coffee they bring in a little coffee decanter and I mean it's enough for two people like two cups of peace and I have went in there and enjoy the whole decanter I mean it is really really good I try to watch what I eat but when I go in there it's just a good you want to order pancakes you want to order age 1 on a bacon and you want or scrapes I mean anything they have you want to order it because it's all so good I have never went in IHOP and had a bad meal that sometimes it's a little slow because it's a lot of people there most of the time but other than that I love I heart my very very favorite...
