Horrible cake and customer service! A couple of weeks ago I ordered a small vanilla buttercream birthday cake for my teenage daughter. I was charged $100. Unfortunately the cake that was provided to us was burnt and hard like cardboard! The buttercream frosting tasted nothing like buttercream. Not one person could eat it. Everyone spit it out. It was the most disgusting/inedible cake. We were astonished that a French bakery could not execute a simple cake properly! It almost felt like a prank. The next day I took it to the store so they could see the awful product that was given to us for $100. The young man working there apologized and said the owner, Veronique or Stephan would get back to us that afternoon. We never got a call. I called 5 days later to follow up and spoke to another gentleman there. I explained the cake situation. His response was that I can only speak to the owners if I get there before 10am and that the owners were “authentic French” and could not speak English. I was so puzzled by his response. So I have to continue searching for the owner (at his convenience) to rectify the awful product they gave me? Ridiculous! All we have gotten are roadblocks by their employees. I give up on trying to speak to these so called French owners and have accepted the fact that I threw $100 down the drain and spoiled my daughter’s birthday. I am just warning the public don’t order cakes here because if you get a bad product from this place don’t expect this store to care or do anything about it. Will never purchase anything there again nor will our...
Read moreI used to go to this place all the time, but the recent drop in quality makes me never want to go back. For reference, I lived in France. I know what a good baguette tastes and feels like. I know what a sourdough boule should taste and feel like. Their baguettes have gotten smaller, denser, and the price has gone up. The croissants are smaller and cost more. I get that prices rise, but they've sacrificed quality. Today I got two loaves of sourdough that were completely inedible. Too dense inside, zero sourdough flavor, awful aftertaste. I brought them back, explained the issue to them politely in French but they refused to reimburse me or offer any consolation other than "it's the same recipe." I've bought it before. I know it's different and I know it doesn't taste good. Apparently they wanted their $11 more than my continued patronage. I'm never going here again. Bad bread is one thing, but bad service is the nail...
Read moreThe most Genuine Boulangerie I ever visited, amazing customer service, friendly staff, delicious baked goods, cakes, desserts and such a cozy place. They have the most delicious baguettes I ever tried. Exquisite desserts that you can try only in Paris, eclairs, macarons, Napoleon cake, croissants and brioches. Just an amazing Bakery. I had coconut cake pops, an eclair and a bread pudding, I couldn’t resist to the Demi baguettes either. The bread pudding was amazingly delicious, the eclair with chocolate filling is the most delicious I ever ate, I was looking for a bakery that can recreate the flavors of eclairs that I tried back in Europe, but I couldn’t find anyone, but Le Petit Paris have them, the most delicious and truly Parisian taste. It’s my first visit, so next time I will try something else, because they have so many delicious baked goods, so I want to try them all.
Highly recommend...
