Visited this salon at 37 weeks pregnant to prepare for the arrival of my baby. I moved here from New Jersey and tried to find a decent low priced nail salon so I came here being that it’s close by as well. I haven’t done my nails since July so I was very excited. First of all they don’t even have the off white marshmallow color which is was I really wanted but fine. I did gel pedicure which the guy totally did wrong. I had to tell him what to do and how to cut my toe nails square because he was just going to leave it the way it was when I came in. I felt like he didn’t care much about my happiness in how I wanted my nails. I also felt like because I’m 37 weeks pregnant and can barely see my feet, he’d think I wouldn’t notice how terrible of a job he did. (Sadly I can’t remember his name but I know he knows which customer I am) I paid for gel pedicure and gel acrylic and they are already falling apart after 4 days of going. My pink pedicure peeled off and there’s bubbles in my acrylic. My hand cuticles were not cut as they do in New Jersey. My gel pedicure lasts me 3 months and never peels off and my gel manicure lasts me 2 weeks minimal. I’m not happy. I paid $62 before tip-not worth my money or time. This makes me miss New Jersey so much. I will not be returning to this nail salon. I now have to find a new salon before baby comes because my gel pedi and gel mani...
Read moreUpdate I went for dip powder on Sunday 10/4/20 and my nail broke Tuesday 10/6/20 here we are on 10/8/20 Thursday and another nail broke!!
I am beyond disappointed John did my nails and let me start by saying my nails took months to grow I stop putting tips on and started doing the dip powder/sns my nails were so healthy John couldn’t believe they were my real nails. John charged me $10 to “take off” the powder how are you charging to take off the powder if it’s part of the dip powder service? Then he tried to up sell by saying I should do an overlay which was an additional $10. I kindly declined and believe that’s why he did so poorly on my nails. He only dipped each nail TWICE in the powder which it’s usually 3 or 4 times per nail. I went Sunday 10/4/20 and on Tuesday 10/6/20 my nail broke which took months of growing they were long and healthy and now I have to regrow one nail all over!!! I do not recommend this place at all what was supposed to cost me $35 ended up costing me a broken nail, the other nails you can see were not even covered completely with the dip, plus $10 to “take off” which not to mention is part of the dip powder process that’s $45 and I still tipped. I will never return if you looking for quality go to Amy’s...
Read moreOriginally, I wasn't going to go to this little salon but sadly the other salon I was readying for was closed for appts. only, (not to happy). However, wow am I glad that I found this cute little salon!! I had to get my acrylics off and just a lil manicure. I don't know if it was bad for my nails that they just kinda went under and popped them all off without acetone but to tell you the truth, the acrylics were badly glued onto my nail so it was super easy to pop off. Afterwards, I just got a regular manicure and boy was I was happy!! The last place I went to in Oviedo, the fellow just destroyed my nails and fingers, cutting my skin multiple times!! But this place they didn't hurt me once!! I am so ecstatic that they did such a fabulous job not hurting me! The manicure was lovely ! Thank you all for treating me like a welcomed guest :)
By the way, the employees offered me a drink which is always a ++!! Great place,...
