You can look at my profile, I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews. I've been to Reno's several times throughout my life, and it's always been good. I'm not sure what happened last night but here we go:
According to Google they're open until 10PM, their door says they're open until 11PM. We got there around 8:50PM and were seated and given menus without anything being said. When our waitress took our drink and appetizer order, and then told us they close at 9PM so we're lucky and would probably be their last table. I felt horrible for this because I'm not that kind of person. I understand wanting to close up and leave for the night and how frustrating it can be when someone comes in super close to closing so I try not to do that. Hence, why I looked the hours up and then saw the hours on the door and figured we had plenty of time.
I'd like to note that several people came in after we did and didn't have anything said to them. The bar was also still packed. Our waitress was nice but I'm sorry the food for the most part was horrible. Our appetizer, the Rosebud, was pretty burnt/overcooked and barely cut. The outer part also seemed as if it was cooked with the onion skin left on.. or maybe it was just so burnt to a crisp that it tasted like that. We both ordered steaks. I ordered mine rare and my sister ordered hers medium rare. Hers came out beyond well-done and mine was more medium rare. Which wasn't a big deal with me, it happens.
My problem with the steaks however is that the meat just... Wasn't good. Very fat/gristly and could have used some seasonings other than salt. My only other complaint was that my baked potato came out luke-warm. It still tasted good though! The macaroni and cheese was probably the best part of the entire meal. Overall, this was just an extremely...
Read moreWe have been to Reno’s a bunch of times but this time was our worst experience. It was just my husband and I, and the waitress sat us at a table for 4 people but we couldn’t get to the other seats because the large group next to us. We asked if she could wipe off the little 2 people booth across from us but she never came to wipe it down so we did ourselves. Then we sat and waited for a server for another 10-15 minutes and the girl sat a group of 4 at the table she originally sat us at… finally a new server came and helped us and said “ I noticed y’all were waiting awhile so I’ll help you” she apologized and was amazing. But then we noticed two servers pretty much were fighting for tips so that’s why they purposely tried to sit us at one of their tables.. it’s ridiculous I heard one of the servers say to the other “ no ma’am I served this table” like fighting over tips is crazy.. not to mention my steak was bland. I’ve never had a bland steak here ever and on the door y’all have a sign that says you’re now using Montreal steak seasoning and my steak was bland?? It seemed like they only used that seasoning and that was it. I don’t want to give it low stars but our server that saved us I wish I could remember her name because she was amazing!!! We tipped her very well. But y’all gotta do better. Only wiping down your tables and leaving multiple other tables dirty because they “aren’t yours” even though you walked past them 100 times...
Read moreWe had a terrible, unfriendly and rude waitress. We were seated in the back with only 3 other people and told that was all the seats available, even though we passed 2 dozen empty booths and tables. The menu has been changed, the good items removed. There's not much to choose from. When we asked if the prime rib and asparagus would be brought back at some point the waitress (Jamey) was very rude in answering. She was extremely unfriendly during the entire visit. She didn't bring all the drinks that was ordered. I told her the coke and water was for me but Danny ordered a coke too. She took my coke and gave it to Danny. I told that was good and fine but we still ordered 2 cokes and she could go get the other one. So we finally ordered. Danny's appetizer came out in about 10 minutes, my salad came out with dinner about 20 minutes later. I don't know if the chef don't know how to weigh items properly or what ...but anyone could see that the 6 oz ribeye Danny ordered was 3 times bigger than the 6 oz ribeye I ordered. Evidently Renos have different sizes of 6 oz ribeyes for men and women. Steak tasted alright but was not seared on the bottom. The bread was doughy and cold. The baked potato and baked beans was the best part of the meal. We usually eat there often, but with rude, incompetent, and unfriendly staff and few food choices.....I don't forsee us eating...
