Avenel Snacks and Coffee — Local services in Woodbridge Township

Update: as promised to the store. They refunded me. I’m updating my review. They did update me in the end. Things are ended amicably.

BEWARE!!! Seller also sells on an app called “Whatnot” if they mess your order up they DO NOT REFUND. They promise a refund THEN BLOCK YOU!!!!

BEWARE!!! When I left a review on whatnot they even stated that they would refund me. THEY BLOCKED ME AFTER MY LAST MESSAGE TO THEM!!!

I highly don’t recommend doing any business with people/someone who handles customer issues like this. It’s SCAMISH and UNFORTUNATE.

Edit: I’ve now found out I’m not the only person they have done this to then blocked. :/

Edit: no one HARASSED this store. I joined maybe 3 out of 8 live streams they did and asked for an update on the situation. And texting wise you can see in the messages no one harassed them lol. (Added the messages the store has sent me and my reply.) also note if your working with a customer to refund them you should NEVER block before making things right. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This has nothing to do with them being a small business.. has everything to do with POOR business handling.

As far as whatnot saying I exceeded I find that interesting because in my 82 orders throughout whatnot I’ve had maybe 4 refunded.

As far as me not sending photos… like I stated in my new message to the shop (as they mentioned lack of photos in their new messages)

“you never asked for photos at this point I can’t provide them because it’s been so long and had you asked for photos when the issue was brought to your attention I could’ve taken photos”

As far as my statement of Me finding out they did this to someone else. It was a friend of mine that I actually shared this shop with after placing my order. Their items were also incorrect and some melted… I haven’t read the correspondence between my friend in the shop. However, I was made aware of the shop had blocked them without correcting the issue.

I’m sure this shop is pleasant in person however I’m stating since they also sell online… it’s handled very poorly for the people whose shipments come in with issues.. I’m sure they have a few flood reviews on whatnot but as I said “it’s handled very poorly for the people whose shipments come in with issues”
