My partner and I drove an hour all the way from DC because of over a thousand 5 star ratings on here. The first time we went Asia was somewhat helpful. We told her we were novice but she didn’t give us any insight on the process at Chrysella, e.g. send inspiration, put a down deposit, have a session with the jeweler (what their name was/experience level), where they source their gemstones. They seem to have good social media on instagram on here apparently. We sent Asia inspiration photos per her direction and our multiple emails went unanswered. My partner had to call her to setup a follow-up appointment. Again, we drove an hour for an appointment we made. Upon our timely arrival she was helping other clients, fine, but did not even acknowledge us— nor did her other sales associate. We asked to use the restroom while we waited and she denied us access because of some bogus reason. As a business they are required to provide a vicinity. At this point I went to the Starbucks across the street and came back. My partner then went to Starbucks while I waited and I saw her let her two clients use the restroom! Completely off putting. Meanwhile her other associate was spending time helping two people who did not even have an appointment which she kept saying to them. It wasn’t until over a half hour past our appointment that her associate started to “help” us and apologized that she was helping someone without an appointment before us. During this process she dismissed what I was telling her I liked, at times not even listening to me. Asia then came to “help” us and her associate said “sorry I’m stealing your client”…Asia did not seem to remember what we sent her, was not at all prepared for our appointment, and sloppily jotted down some notes on her phone. She told us she would follow-up with an email for next steps and a deposit. But never did and it’s been 2 weeks later. The work was completed within the expected timelines and according to the original design. Asia consistently provided updates throughout the process, eliminating the need for us to make inquiries or speculate on progress. Her weekly emails effectively kept us informed.
Regrettably, following a couple of weeks of wearing the bracelet, the mom came to the decision that it was not suitable for her. While there were no flaws in its craftsmanship, it simply did not align with her daily routine. It is important to note that this was our mistake for choosing an unsuitable design and not a reflection on Chrysella's work.
This is where they truly excelled. They took the time to understand our concerns and improved upon the design, delivering an exceptional result. Additionally, they worked with us to provide credit and a competitive price for the new work. Despite potentially not making much profit from this transaction, they have earned a lifelong customer.
Phase two is approaching and it includes a ring revamp and appraisal. The entire team at the shop is friendly and accommodating. The company operates smoothly, providing frequent updates and effective communication, while adhering to agreed upon timelines and delivering on its promises.
