So today me and my girl friend had decided to walk around Sunray to look around the stores and we just seemed to have the worse experience yet. Not even 3 minutes after walking in TJ Maxx was I feeling looked at at every move I was making. (Note that we are in our "older teens") As I was smelling the perfume I had casually looked to my left to see the jewelry clerk STARING at me. I looked back at my friend to make it seem like I didn't notice her. So we stayed smelling the perfumes for a few minutes and in the corner of my eyes I could see her still STARING. So as we go to the other side to look at the makeup, another worker is at the end of the aisle fixing things up, watching us also. To make this short, workers were following & "keeping eyes" on us everywhere we were going. If this isn't the worst experience I've had, I don't know what is. We later had a friend who worked at TJ MAXX asking if we STOLE and saying that they were told to keep an eye on us because we had previously went to Sally's and they also accused me and my friend of stealing from them also; leading them to tell the manager of TJ Maxx to "watch out for us". Lastly to top it off, as I was paying for my items at TJ Maxx the cashier (same lady who kept following me and my friend around the makeup area) threw my bag of items on the countertop. I'd personally NEVER go to either store again. We're disappointed that they'd accuse us of this just because we're still minors and not adults. FYI I have a job. I hope they feel ASHAMED of themselves. I know they have precautions but they should NOT take it...
Read moreI visited T J Max on both days. The first day, very pleasant, the representative in the jewelry dept, was very helpful and thoughtful. Only asked me once if I needed help. She listened to my reply and didn't bother me again. She helped me search for a 20" silver chain until she found one. I ended up buying both 18" and 20" because I liked both. I purchased several jewelry items, no hesitation from the same representative, made me feel great. The second day I visited, a different jewelry (clerk), no characteristics of being a representative, keeped asking if I needed assistance than motioned another representative to ask the same question. That was annoying. When I was ready to purchase three pairs of earrings, she told me I could take my things around to the front register. I replied no, I will pay for them right here at this register like I did yesterday. Instead of servicing me, she told me to wait as she turned away from me to service a caucasian woman. The time and energy that clerk took to shoo me away, she could...
Read moreIf a big fat ZERO or even double ZERO or triple ZERO is available, I will give to this store without a shadow of a doubt! I have been a frequent shopper and TJM credit card owner for 20+ and I have never felt so disrespected anywhere but here. The managers are beyond rude and have triple ZERO people skills. I tried to return something that I didn't realize it had a tear until the day I needed to wear it. It was only two days after their 30 days return policy when I tried to return but they refused to accept and gave me this BS that they wouldn't sell a damaged good. I have no use for it and would definitely NOT invest in getting it fixed when I purchased it full price and should be damaged-free to begin with. This wasn't the first time I was rudely treated by the managers and employees there but this last trip was the last straw! I will never, ever set foot at that store ever again! YOU...
