I absolutely ADORE this place! It has a huge vegetarian menu, which is much appreciated by myself and my partner. The food is perfect pretty much every time, and I love that we can customize the level of spice because my partner can handle more spice than I can (I believe there are 5 or 6 levels). The service is amazing, and I’m pretty sure several of the employees there recognize us now which makes us feel appreciated 🥰 They are very attentive and often stop by the table to refill drinks and rice (yes, free rice refills!) and check on how the food is. When we first started eating there they were patient with our many questions about different dishes and answered without judgement.

A few things to note (that are NOT the restaurant’s fault in any way) that people may want to know:

  1. sometimes it can get really busy in there, and as someone who struggles with anxiety it can get a little overwhelming. If you struggle with this as well I have found if you go an hour or so before lunch or dinner it’s quiet enough to get food quickly and head out before it gets too busy ☺️
  2. I have a hearing loss, so when it is busy I often struggle to hear what the employees are saying. On top of that, I struggle with understanding with their accents sometimes (which I can’t stress enough, is NOT THEIR FAULT, nor am I upset at them for it), but just a forewarning for people who may be hard of hearing. It’s just an excuse to bring a friend to help you and get India Palace some new loyal customers 😉
  3. if you decide to order pickup, know that it can take a while. There have been times we have ordered pickup and it takes around 45 mins. Again, not their problem, they get really busy sometimes. We enjoy it so much we are willing to wait!

Overall, I don’t think there is any restaurant I would recommend more than India Palace. Their food has brought me so much joy and comfort in my life, which may sound weird but it’s true. THANK YOU India Palace! ❤️

I used to love this place, came here for many years. Recommended it to friends and family. Took out of town guests here and came for celebrations. It's pricey for me but it used to be worth it. Brought guests yesterday and was completely embarrassed. The server grunted at us, was unfriendly, unhelpful and unpleasant. I used to recognize the servers but not this one. I have recently been advised not to have rice by my doctor so I thought a friendly place wouldn't mind not serving me rice but perhaps Naan bread instead. I wasn't unwilling to accommodate a change in the charge if I could be helped. Normal price for Naan maybe a little less for my entree since I couldn't eat half of it. Nope it comes with rice only he says. Ok thanks unfriendly grunty guy. I saw a server I knew who was typically helpful and surprisingly he was equally as gruff! OK, I get rice whether I want it or not. Our friends had questions on the menu and it seemed be a lot of inconvenience to get answers. I had to keep apologizing to my guests for the rudeness of the staff and mix ups and omissions as well as a steep the the dive the quality of the food. We were splashed by the server when he was serving water and he handled our dishes with his bare bandaged hands while we were still using them. THe ambience of the dining room is gone, the booths are narrow and it looks like a fast food restaurant now. To cap the whole miserable experience, I took the rest of my chicken josh home and found a piece of plastic wrapping in it. From my favorite to a horror. Was there a corporate take over?...

For your food. You don't even get single star. Can you please watch in YouTube how to make chicken pakoda. If something is fried in oil that means it should have minimum taste. In biryani you mix with chicken curry and call it as biryani. You charge 17$ for not even biryani. You should name it chicken mixed rice. Do not call it as chicken biryani. Does biryani look like soup mixed rice? You just mixed chicken and soup with rice. In biryani people do not add onions in the oil. In biryani you should add fried onions. In biryani we add variety of spices. You do not even have single biryani spices such as cloves, cardamom, bay leaf etc.

Dear owner, if you want to grow in any business people will grow with hard work and, if you do hardwork you will reach to next levels. You think you are saving money by not hiring cook and staff. That is not true. You created one line that you don't want to grow further. You are thinking small. If your food is good,People will come to your restaurant from even 2 hours far. In life, people those are successful they think beyond these small things. Some people are driving to Texas from one state to another just because Texas Indian restaurants food is good ... Even Americans will love the food. They will try to come...

We love eating food. Our 3 kids age 13, 11, and 7 are little more ambitious than the prototypical kid when it comes to trying new things, still we were not sure how they would take to Indian cuisine. Though we had our reservation, not one child complained of the food and all 3 finished their plates, like really parent approved finished. As a particular foodie myself I love the fact that we all were able to designate the level of spiciness from 1-5. My 2 son had the shrimp curry at level 1 and love it. My daughter and wife shared a chicken curry at spice level 2 and they couldn’t stop. And myself had balti lamb with coconut (unbelievable flavor) spice 3. I tried all of the dishes and found them all flavorful with great balance. Add in Garlic Naan and rice and it was a tastebud explosion of flavor, texture, and mouth watering each and every bite. Will I eat here again? Absolutely. Will I stop here as we drive through Woodbury for northern travels? No doubt. Would we travel and stop here for future city visit, we all agreed this is a must stop from here on out. I don’t give many food reviews and when I do I mean the words I write. Try this place people, you will not regret it!

A great spot to enjoy a wide range of food from India. Spice level: if you love your food hot and spicy, let the employees know and they will accommodate. This was very nice of them. But make sure you want it VERY VERY spicy. Food Quality: One of the better places around town. Quality of the Tiki Masala, bread and India's Palace Special, were flavorful with a quick rush of spiciness. The rice was unique and well made. The bread was soft, fresh and incredible in flavor as well. The chicken was well cooked and the sauces we had really accelerated the flavors as we ate it with the bread and rice. The employees were very nice and helpful. The seating at the booth was very spacious. Could easily fit 4 people comfortably. Parking is very easy but it is shared with other businesses. Would highly recommend coming here if you're craving food from India.
