So a couple nights ago my family and I PURCHASED tickets, popcorn, etc. for a movie. The concessions were good. The movie we’re seeing was good. The seats were comfortable. We were enjoying our night out as a family. That was until the security guard on duty came into the theater towards the end of the film and proceeded to aggressively talk to my significant other about being on her phone when she was simply turning the brightness down because a call came in. He didn’t give a warning or anything he just went straight to saying that he was going to kick her out. After that he came in and out of the theater about 5 or 6 times looking for what exactly? I don’t know but it was very distracting…. more distracting than a phone ever would be (Especially since we were sitting in the back row by the enter/exit door with no one around us). It was like he was trying to intimidate and single her out. It was very embarrassing for her and especially for our 8 year old daughter. What happened after the movie is what really disappointed us because we went to talk to the security guard and he nothing to say besides “ That’s my job and you can go talk to the manager” in which we did. Management did not handle our complaint as well as we thought she should have either. It seemed like she didn’t care , interrupted us a few times when expressing our complaint, and then proceeded to get frustrated and had another employee step in. He was no better. We felt he was stepping in to intimidate also and was rude. He even said “ I hear you but you’re still talking”. This experience has made us not want to come back to support or give our money to this establishment (which is sad to say since I’ve been coming here since I’ve been 14 and...

We live out of state and wanted to give them something we knew they would use. When I asked to speak to a Manager the Manager sighed into the phone and said "this is". I assured him I wasn't calling him about anything negative, since he answered the phone with less than an enthusiastic attitude. I asked to order a gift card and have it mailed to our parents, because we live out of state. He said he upgraded his credit card machine and couldn't take orders over the phone. I asked if there was another way and he curtly replied, "I don't know, I guess you could send a check". I asked further questions about why he could not take the order over the phone and he FINALLY explained that he needed a physical card to make the purchase. It was like pulling teeth to get him to give me any information or to be cooperative at all! My husband was standing next to me and asked what the problem was and I told him the manager was being rude and they couldn't help us. The manager chuckles into the phone, "Oh ya I'm being rude!" I told him I could hear him and that he was being rude! He told me that I was only upset because I wasn't getting what I wanted and I explained that the way he was speaking to me and the tone he was using was RUDE! He condescended to me that he had to explain things to me 3 times and I wasn't getting what he was telling me. I ended up hanging up and I plan to tell our parents to stay away from this theatre. it is obvious they don't want peoples business and they especially don't want to be bothered during...
Read moreDrove 30 miles to this theater. It’s one of only a few privately owned theaters in Minnesota. It’s one of two in the Twin Cities; the other in Forest Lake. I went to see Bill and Ted’s Face the Music. Theater chains don’t often show movie’s released simultaneously on Streaming video. Perhaps they don’t want to make money? Granted during a pandemic not too many go to the theaters, perhaps they are unaware they’re open (because they are going to restaurants with even more limited seating). Woodbury 10 is located in what would normally be a bustling area. Prices were decent for matinee viewing. My one Ticket, large popcorn w/extra butter and large drink was $15. You do have to pay for extra butter, but it’s a small fee. The theater was very clean and employees all wore face masks as is required at this time. The theater seats may not have been “recliners” but they were very comfortable and did recline more than the traditional seat would. Seats all padded and vinyl. Very spiffy for the low cost. Wish this theatre was closer to my home; I’d go there often. The only drawback was that I’m used to sitting Front and Center (where no one likes to sit, everyone usually sits farther from the screen). The seats have an aisle down the middle, so no Center seats. All in all it was worth the drive for this one movie. If another streaming movie comes along they show, I...
