This place sucks!! The past several times we’ve been here, our ice cream is never mixed! Please teach these girls to chop up and mix the ice cream better! I’ve learned to ask that they chop my Reese’s peanut butter cup up, but if I don’t ask, my Reese’s peanut butter cups come out in half, It’s quite hard to bite a frozen solid Reese’s peanut butter cup! My son’s ice cream was not mixed at all. The girls were too busy talking and telling dumb stories to each other and totally distracted each other from their work. They can’t work and talk. And If this is happening to us, it’s happening to everyone. My son worked at Cold Stone MOA and was an excellent server with an excellent manager and team so he knows how to mix, serve, and respect people who pay good money for this treat. Just got home from visiting at around 6:50pm. My husband and I stopped in and they were pretty busy. We noticed five employees though (3front and 2back). My husband and I both had samples and then I told the gal what I wanted. I ordered a kids cake batter and immediately the employee stuck her head out and snotty responded with “a kids?” And I said yes. I also said I wanted a “mine” of cake batter. You could tell her whole energy shifted and she was frustrated. I told her my husband had an ice cream after that and she 100% rolled her eyes. I never said anything, but as soon as we got in the car my husband mentioned how rude she was. My friends and I have frequented this Cold Stone location a handful of times over the past week. Every time it has been very busy, and the employees have been very lazy and were more concerned with personal conversations with each other rather than focusing on the customers. Today I placed an online order, we arrived to pick it up and waited at the checkout for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Thankfully I checked the bag, because we were missing an entire bowl. The bowls that we did receive were extremely messy, and the lids were not even on all the way. When we went back inside to get the rest of our order, the employees were very rude and unapologetic. I understand these are tough times but it doesn’t take much to be sincere.
