Possibly one of the worst, if not the worst auto shop in this area. For those that remember this shop as Ralph's, boy are you in for a rude awakening. It's 180 deg from what you're used to. The shop is filthy, the exterior which was painted yearly is dilapidated and an eyesore. As for staff, that is a revolving door with the exception of Eddie who was with Ralph. He's only there every other week however, so if there is no other mechanic on the planet and you must go here, hope you pick the week Eddie is there. As for my experience, went for an oil change, smashed my roof with the garage door on the way backing out, always good. Second time, and this will give you an idea of the mentality of the owner. I had a blocked heater box and needed another oil change. Asked the owner on a Thursday if I could bring it in Monday. He stated he was busy then, come in Tuesday. Arrived Tuesday, owner asked what I was there for lolol. Told him he told me to come in Tues for heater box and oil. He says, oh, I'm too busy to do the heater box, I'll do the,oil change. This is after discussing it the week before with the heater box being the main repair. Obviously disappointed, I left and found a great mechanic in town that doesn't damage your vehicle, overcharge and knows how to repair. The mentality is most concerning, this joker screwed a customer and then gets mad at the customer lol. Rather than reach out and say we had a bad start. I have no clue where the 5 stars came from, family and friends no doubt because I know at least 10 people that would never go back. Up to you to roll the dice on this...
Read moreI would recommend this place to anyone, and here's why:
I went to Firestone on a Saturday morning because a check engine light had come on (I don't know anything about cars; this will come into play later). They told me to leave it there because it would take a sec to determine what was wrong with it, but they would have it done by the end of the day. So I leave. About an hour later I get a call, saying that I needed new spark plugs, a thermostat, air filter, and something I cant remember. Basically just a tune-up was all that was needed. The cost? $2,000!! They were absolutely taking advantage of the fact that I knew nothing about cars, but I know when I'm getting ripped off.
Obviously I wasn't going to pay $2,000 (I asked for an itemized bill, and the labor cost alone was $860).
I went and picked my car up from Firestone (who charged me $120 just to diagnose the issues) and took it to Angelo's. Immediately I was welcomed and told that $2,000 was ridiculous, and that they could have my car done by Monday (this is Saturday).
The level of service and over $1,000 price difference was exactly what I needed, and they were personable to boot. I will be using Angelo's from now...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Angelo's Auto Repair! Angelo himself is not only extremely skilled but also just an awesome guy. My Camaro’s heat and A/C stopped working and Angelo figured it out in a day. I thought he was extremely fair and honest (I was thinking this would be an expensive fix but it was very fair what he charged me). On top of that, he explained everything clearly so I actually understood what was going on. He’s super nice, funny, and plays great music at the shop (he had some awesome 80s rock going on). Fair prices, great/honest guy, and excellent work. I've been recommending him to all my friends for oil changes, tire changes and any other car maintenance and they are all happy. If you want to have a great experience dealing with any car issue Angelo is the best. No one better in this area. I will definitely...
