I recently started to use this Wallgreens, being that Iâm new to the area. Where I used to live I would always use the local CVS. I only decided to use this specific Wallgreens, for the same reason, convenient. What I find very puzzling with this pharmacy, & Iâm not sure itâs all Wallgreens or just the one in Woodland Park, NJ, is the people who take your prescriptions look at you in a very funny way, AFTER YOU HAVE HANDED THEM YOUR RX. Prior to them seeing what medications I am picking up, they are all happy-go-lucky. However, their personal demeanor (This was âNOTâ on 1 single isolated occasion, itâs now the 6th time Iâve used them, & the 6th time this has happened to me) immediately changes. I canât believe that on my most recent drop off I had a male employee of the pharmacy ask me 5-6 different questions about my medication. CLEARLY THESE WERE QUESTIONS HE HAD NO BUSINESS ASKING ME, AS IâM QUITE SURE HEâS NOT AWARE OF NJâs HIPPA LAWS. Having nothing to hide, & rather not telling him âItâs really none of your businessâ I told him the reason for the need of this medication. He went back and forth with some other employee, 4X typing into his computer. After making me wait 20 minutes in the drive through, badgering me about âWHY IâM TAKING THIS MEDICATIONâ only to come back & say, âSorry Sir, we donât distribute this type of medication.â When I asked him âWhat in the world are you taking about, your a pharmacy, arenât you ?â His response was extremely alarming, & offensive. (Thus why Iâm writing my FIRST EVER review of a business) I was told to, âTake your RX somewhere else, & good luck with that.â They only got 1 star because I could give them 0, or a negative rating, but my review explains my experience quite well.
NOT ONLY AM I WRITING THIS REVIEW TO EDUCATE NEW PEOPLE THAT MAY WANT TO USE THIS PHARMACY TO STAY AWAY, I AM ALSO CALLING & THEN WRITING TO THEIR HEADQUARTERS. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS YOUNG INDIVIDUAL HAD NO CLUE WHATSOEVER WHO HE WAS BELITTLING AS I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO EXPOSE THIS PHARMACY FOR 100% UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE THIS EVENT IS CLEARLY HEARD TO ALL OF THE âPOWER-AT-Bâ WORKING FOR WALLGREENS.
** THEY JUST CAUSED THE âFUSEâ TO BURN ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM & HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW OFFENSIVE & DISCRIMINATORY THEIR ACTIONS WERE.
I am not rating the store here- but more one of the pharmacy employees. There is a woman there named Lisa- who is probably the worst, fake, meanest person I have ever met. I have been getting my prescriptions from Walgreens in Little Falls a couple of years prior to their move to Browertown, and my uncle has been going there forever. Every time I go in there and walk to the counter and Lisa is working, I pretty much prepare myself for her sarcastic and horrible customer service- her bossy know-it- all attitude and her all around rudeness. I already hear her voice telling me that there was some type of issue, which she instantly blames on me or my insurance- when in reality it turns out to be her/the stores mistake. I silently say a prayer that the pharmacist will rescue me instead of having to deal with her. Here constant negativity really brings the place down and patients, like me, who are dealing with social disorders (not limited to just: social anxiety, depression, bi polar, ADD) walk out of Walgreens feeling worse than when they came in. I don't think anyone deserves to be talked down to, especially when this Lisa doesn't know their background or knowledge. I am really surprised a well known retail chain would keep such a bad seed.
I think the best though- is that when my uncle is there with me, she is sweet as pie to him. Smiles, laughs, courteous. But when the customer before him, and I guess anyone after him, she is a royal b!@#$. There is always a huff or eye roll. Her body language is very off putting/ as well as completely non approachable and actually alarming, and I'm not a little dude, being 6'4 and a broad guy, she has a way of making people inferior.
I would love to get my medicine at another pharmacy, but convenience always wins out, as the drive is less than 3 minutes away. I just hope someone actually reads this review and has a talk with her. Maybe customer service isn't her strong suit....perhaps prison guard? lunch lady?...
Read moreThe pharmacy at this location is absolutely unbearable. Just going to mention a few of the issues they have as I don't have time to present the entire extensive list of negativity one experiences when coming here.
First, I'll mention the fact that they really don't care about you. For example, as I'm writing this, I am waiting for a script I dropped off 2 hours ago. They asked me when I wanted to pick it up and I told them I will wait for it. The gentlemen then informed me it will be an hour and a half and I nodded and walked away. For all they know, I literally could have been at the store waiting for the script the entire time only to be told that they don't have it ready two hours later and that they will get to it now. The gentleman earlier, took my script put it to the side and forgot about it. This is exactly the 6th time this has happened at this location.
Next, I will mention the fact that costumer turn-around time averages are at an average of 5.5 minutes per customer. As I sat waiting for my script to be filled, with 3 people working the register, I calculated that average based on the 13 customers that were helped in that time. As you can imagine the line is very long because of this. There is a man working the drive-thru who shouts so loud on the phone to the customers on the other side of window, no one can hear the conversation they are having. This guy should be helping the in store customers prior to going to the window when the line is 25-35 people long.
Lastly, I'll mention the tall, chubby, blonde lady who works here (clearly don't know her name). She is terribly rude and obnoxious. She always wreaks of misery and shows her unhappiness at every opportunity. Not a pleasant experience to say the least.
Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time. The Walgreens on Allwood in Clifton has a wonderful pharmacy staff, so go...
