To start with, I just want to say that I looked for the store manager's email to directly discuss my experiences, but it was unavailable. My family spends thousands of dollars at Raley's every year. We are a family of 4 with 3 bunnies that require a lot of produce. I continuously try to give this location another opportunity to increase quality and customer service, but we are done trying. The last straw was purchasing French Fried Onions for my thanksgiving casserole that were 1 year EXPIRED. The weird part is the only reason I checked this particular item, is because of the thick layer of dust on the lid (which the curbside employee should have seen and wondered about). When I shop, I am always finding expired products on the shelves (salad, carrot juice, sausage, cake mixes, tofu, etc.). I can understand every now and then, but I am the customer laying these items down low so that other customers do not buy expired food and to flag the employees. On our previous two curbside orders, we got charged for items we did not receive. I reached out and asked for a refund, and we never received the credit for the items. Food is expensive, and keeping expired food on the shelves to sell should not be happening. These experiences have only been at the Woodland Raley's location. We love the Raley's in Sacramento....
Read moreRaley's is open until 11:00PM that is a good thing for this guy. Most of Raley's shoppers are normal, let's get everything done before dinner at 10:00 PM I ask myself why stay open?.I Me I go shopping when I can get a Ride # oldslowbadtypist don't drive anymore I need support when I go shopping Someone to pick me up take me home and help with approx. 2 weeks of food. That did not happen for me last evening. Raley's employee's did make it happen for me. Stuck at Raley's 10:30 PM No Ride! the cashier asked me where I lived? close by on West Court.in minutes she had me a helper to carry my stuff over to my apartment. My Ride finally showed up 10:55 and all was good. Raley's can't make overhead between 9 and 11.I believe their has to be a sense of Community tied up in that decision,They stay open to give that part of town a feeling guardian ship. I know I felt that way when I left this evening Raley's employees made me feel like I counted I was not going to leave the store on my own without some support. Yeah it's "not my job" didn't even come into their minds It was let get this#oldbadslowtypist home safe. Thank You Raley's and thank you the nice cashier lady and the young man who was all already to help me home with a lot of food...
Read moreI like Raley's less than I used to (& I really used to like it) for basically two reasons... 1). They have too few people, especially cashiers, working there, so the lines are almost always long. Self checkout is a snarl, as well. 2). Their latest rewards program is genuinely horrible. Basically, to get many of the sale prices, you have to go in and click to accept them on the web or app. If you fail to.do this, or the click didn't register (& yes this happens a lot) you don't get the rewards price even though you out your phone number in. Also often the items don't appear to be clicked until late Wednesday or Thursday even though the promotion started Wednesday morning. This all happens to many customers, resulting in significant delays in the already long lines and very annoyed customers who inevitably take out their frustration on the already too few cashiers who had nothing to do with this dumpster fire. I'm good with signing up for the rewards program and giving them my phone number to get the sale prices. I know that gives them customer level data. But this last click to get deals has been terribly implemented and is broadly annoying to...
