I used the website to place a timed order at 12:30pm to be picked up at 6pm. I went to pick up the food at 6pm, and it was ready when I arrived. When I got home the food was cold, the biscuits were rock hard. It was apparent that they made the food when I placed the order at 12:30pm, so that meant it had been sitting there for over five hours.
I drove back to the KFC and requested to have the food remade. I was told very rudely by a manager that I would have to pay for it....again...or I could contact the customer service number for a refund. No apology or nothin'. I was in shock and am still in shock about how terrible my customer experience was.
I ended up calling customer service, and to add insult to injury, they would only offer to pay for half of the meal...half. How dang cheap is this company that they can't do the right thing? Well, based on how many terrible experiences people have had at this store, I'd bet on it shutting down at some point. Especially when Chic Fil A is right across the street. The only reason people go to KFC is because it's always packed over there. But at least they do customer service right!!! I will never return to this store, and most likely, won't ever eat...
Read moreAfter hearing good things about the Nashville hot chicken, I decided to give KFC a try for the first time in about 15 years. Went on 3/29 during the day, service was great, and chicken was fantastic.
Got a craving for them again Saturday (3/31) night, so I went through the drive through around 8 pm. Ordered 3 Nashville Hot chicken littles, and a side of cole slaw. Pulled up to the window, the girl working was extremely unfriendly from the start. After paying, she handed me the bag and shut the window without saying a word. I quickly noticed that the cole slaw was missing, and got her attention. She opened the window again, and I informed her of the missing item. She responded with "I know, I didn't charge you for it." I then told her I still wanted the cole slaw, and held out my card. Instead of taking it, again, without a word, she closed the window, and walked away.
To top everything off, the food was nothing like what I had prior. Sloppily put together, and missing the pickles.
I see many good reviews on here, which is uncommon for fast food in the area, so it's possible that I just dealt with a single bad employee on a bad night, but I don't know if I'll risk...
Read moreLet me first start that niema (I apologize if that is misspelled) is a true asset to the store. It was the height of dinner rush and she was making sure everyone was taken care of. The manager on the other hand has some lessons she could learn from her staff. The store was sufficiently busy with it being dinner time. The manager spent her time chit chatting and sitting in the dining room for at least the 20 minutes I was there. A customer should not hear constant complaining from the manager about how they didn't get their vacation, enough days off, that she's working this location, liberty road, closed Ellicott city location. If her lack of work is any indication, I'd guess maybe she hadn't earned the vacation. Three separate times her staff working hard behind the counter tried to interrupt the managers gabfest to ask for help or more product to which the manager would say she would be right over and then wait 7 or 8 minutes to go over and just tell the staff where to find the item in question.
