Today I went into this homegoods and spent an hour piecing together the decor for my new living room. I was so excited only to get to the cashiers desk and be met with the most abysmal customer service. I was at the register spending over 300 dollars and as the cash registrar is ringing out my candle holder she touches it saying it’s broken asking if I’d still like to purchase, I said yes and asked whether it could be discounted. She asked the girl next to her who said “probably not” I then asked her to check with a manager ( Deborah) and she came back saying “ I can’t sell this to you , it shouldn’t have been on the floor” mind you it had a pair that was completely in tact. I let her know that I’d assume the risk and she still refused. She even brought a second manager Rosie who refused to sell the item. The point is, it should have never been on the floor and I was punished for bringing the MINOR defect to the attention of the manager. She could have stamped it as non returnable and sold me the item but unnecessarily stuck to procedure instead of pivoting to a more customer service approach considering it was the fault of HomeGoods not my own. Came here a couple days ago and it’s always good to find steals. Saw a bunch of cute dinnerware/mugs and more for sale.

The only downside is that one of my sisters needed help buying a big mirror and they kept telling us they’ll help us in a min and after a long while nobody came so we asked again. And nobody came again... I mean maybe they were busy, I don’t know.

But the cashier was a total sweetheart and apologized about the wait saying there was a communication issue(between the worker’s). So in the end it all worked out.

This HomeGoods location is one of my favorites! The location is huge and it has endless options! When I first moved into my apartment this is where I found the best furniture and decor options. Every time I walk in I have to hold myself back from buying so many things. I just came by again yesterday and I had to put a few things down!
