Wolfe Wildlife Park — Attraction in Worth Township

I never walked the trail in the 5 years I've lived in the area - I'd always seen it but always enroute to another destination Till a friend stopped by for a visit last thursday. She never just comes by for a visit she always has 32 other stops or things to pick up. So she combined a coffee run with a walk and my visit. It was amazing the trail lead us to another world of wildlife , bridges and bodys of water. Great place to go for a long walk all year round. Enjoyable to observe change of seasons. A long path snakes through the entire forest and prairie areas. You will find playgrounds here and there, bridges to walk over and pause at. There's a winding pond with a dwindling duck population due to the pond being slowly drained by a retention pond constructed by a nearby Marianos when it first opened. Great place for a gathering. We spent the extra money & rented the super cooker & that was well worth it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the tables under the pavilion are in rough shape. They definitely need to be refurbished.
