I came to the restaurant on Friday 5/10/24. I put my name on the list around 7:30pm and was told that it was going to be a 45min wait. When I put my name on the list I saw that it was a large party of about 15+ people dining in.
My party eventually was seated at 8:30pm and was seated next to this large party of people that was still there. This large party was very loud and obnoxiously taking pictures to the point where we could barely hear each other across the table, and we all had a headaches. After 45mins we asked our server could we be moved to a different table and we were told that we were the third table in the vicinity that asked to be moved, there were no available tables to move us to and that that large party was given their check when my party sat down and still had not paid it.
After a few more minutes I walked up to the hostess counter and expressed my grievances and they told me there was nothing else they could do about it because they had already told them their time for occupying the tables was up and they should stay seated. I asked for something to be comped on our check because of our unpleasant experience and they said no because they weren't in the wrong.
So my party and I left soon as our to go order was ready. When we left at 10pm and half of that large was still there.
I opted not to argue with the hostess because my head was hurting but you all were indeed in the wrong. You all just opened therefore there are a lot of people are coming to dine with you all. You all have a time limit on how long a party can be at a table that you all didn't enforce. I'm not saying you all should be rude and kick them out but you all should be firm with enforcing your own rules.
My party and the other three parties who complained did not enjoy our experience there because you all would not in enforce the rules. I waited for an hour for a table and hated my experience and I'm sure there were other people who waited a long time as well because you all let a party occupy five tables for more than 3 hrs. I am very disappointed, I was excited to try you all out but it was a let down.
As far as the food and drinks: The Guava margarita was good but the lasagna was just okay. The sauce was too sweet for my liking.

Read moreMy family and I dined at your Oaklawn location yesterday October 24, 2024. I must say the food and beverages was delicious . However the customer service could improve. The hostess on duty around 8:30pm name unknown. Was very inattentive ! First of all I informed her that it was my son’s thirtieth birthday! I asked if the restaurant does birthday wishes. She replied that they do not that most people buy a dessert. I mentioned we probably won’t get dessert and requested if they could sing like they do at your competitors. She said yes they could. Second she was about to seat us at a table. We requested a booth she stated that section is closed. Then she said we would have to wait. Shortly after that she seated a caucasian group right behind us. Then our server Bianca arrived I also informed her that it was my son’s birthday she stated she was aware never mentioning that it is mandatory to purchase a dessert. If I had known that was not a problem. We would have made the purchase because this was a special day for my family. She also did not inform us that if you purchase a drink and it’s not to your liking you can’t return it. Then she brings the bill. Meanwhile they are singing happy birthday to another hispanic guest right in front of my son. He felt so disrespected he didn’t understand why he wasn’t acknowledged. There were many employees standing around engaging in conversation doing nothing that could have honored a simple request. I asked to speak to the manager that never came to speak with me . Therefore I am sending this email in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. It felt very hurtful to myself and my family to be treated this way. We spent money and left a generous tip for Bianca. We will not return to your facility again. It was not a good experience and exhibited racism still exists.I emailed this to the complaints email and no one responded!!!
Thank you to Joshua the GM for reaching out to me and my family. We appreciate your gesture and for trying to make...
Read moreI am writing this review regarding my family’s visit to your Oak Lawn location the afternoon of June 23, 2024. My family of five made our first visit to your establishment and things were going quite well until our meal concluded. The food was good; we ordered three cocktails, an order of buffalo shrimp, an order of wings, a jumbo pizza and a medium pizza. It was the conclusion of our visit that took a turn. We sat in a row of three tables: 1 table seated a Caucasian family of three (woman and two boys) and the nearest table seated a multigenerational Hispanic family that consisted of five to six guests. I noticed both tables were offered boxes for their leftover pizza and complimentary boxing was offered by the same waitress that serviced our table. When our bill came it was accompanied by two Styrofoam containers for our leftovers. I mentioned to the waitress, Christina, that we basically had a whole pizza left with the half medium and half jumbo combined, so how was our pizza and leftovers supposed to fit into two Styrofoam containers. She then asked if we wanted a box, however she never initiated the complimentary placement of our food into the containers. I asked to speak with a manager after further discussion with my children (who noticed the difference in how we were serviced). The manager, Olivia, greeted us and I explained what occurred and she went on to say that the waitress may have experienced a ditzy moment and assured me that was all it was. I then told the manager that her mind was clear at least 66 percent of the time when she serviced the two neighboring tables, so she can remove the automatic gratuity from our bill.
We frequently dine out and never have an issue with providing compensation and positive social media reviews reflective of great service; however, this experience was a huge miss and bad representation of your brand. I cannot, in good faith, recommend you to any of my clients or...
