I visited this facility on June 6 2022. I was in a hurry before picking my mom up from dialysis. I came into this facility for oil change. The service that was rendered by the facility was ok. But what happened after the service and oil change is what was wrong. 40 minutes after the oils change my on board computer read, motor is reducing power because of a problem. So I parked the car and paid for a ride home. So the next morning I checked the oil. The oil looked like it had been in my car for 6 months instead of less the 24 hours. So I had the vehicle towed. So the third day I bought oil from Orielly’s, penzoil 10w30 full synthetic. So I parked the car after I changed the oil. I called FIVE MINUTE OIL SHOP and talked to QUINCY THE MANAGER. QUINCY put another manager on the phone. I told him that the service was great but there is a problem with their product. So I was not compensated no kind of was. So after I let the car sit for a FEW days after the second oil change the SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT AND THE ERROR MESSAGE DISAPPEARED. PLEASE DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. THE OIL LOOKED BURNT AFTER 3 hrs IN MY MOTOR. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. SOME CARS CANNOT USE THAT RECYCLED DETERGENT CLEANSED VERY THIN OIL!!!! AND STILL I WAS NOT COMPENSATED FOR SECOND OIL CHANGE NOT EVEN THE FIRST OIL CHANGE AND NOT EVEN THE TOW SERVICE THAT...
Read moreFrom area manager Mark Estrada down, this location is a giant dumpster fire 🔥.
The lack of automotive experience (less than 3yrs each mostly) within this crew is astonishing.
Mark was clueless when it came to standard operating procedures, with regard to non-standard service results. His staff fully demonstrates a high level of incompetence when challenged with minor, yet common service issues. (Ex: separate review below mentioned a rusted air filter housing fastener, that prevented the entire staff from completing the air filter inspection 🤯). Common and simple issues, result in service failures.
The location manager, Devin Smith, is just as inexperienced and confused as the superior.
After witnessing management techs disable a vehicle during routine oil service & place all liability on a single mother, I had a good idea of their low integrity business model. That single mother ended up contacting a mobile service tech to complete the service (in the parking lot) that the Take5 management techs could not. Embarrassing. 😳
When you have incompetent leadership lacking in experience, incompetent results are the most probable outcome from those that they lead.
**The PR team may respond with a generic apology for the experience, but they've done nothing to adjudicate the issue to this point. More to...
Read moreBe aware, I asked them to check all my fluid levels because it was getting cold outside and to top them off. They said ok and told me all fluids were topped off and at a safe level. Well 2weeks later I started having transmission issues and low and behold there was not a drop of transmission fluid in my transmission nor do I have any leaks and transmission fluid does not just evaporate. With that said I contacted them and Devin the shop manager told me she would send a tow truck and have my vehicle sent to the shop to see what's going on with it 5 mins later called me back and said that she is standing by her technician and because he put safe level on my receipt that I'm on my own to fix my truck. I have contacted corporate headquarters as well as the District manager Mark and the bottom line is that this fraudulent company ain't no better than Jiffy Lube or any of these other rinky dinky oil change places. BE AWARE OF THEM & THERE PRACTICES. BBB, ATTORNEY GENERAL AND MY LAWYER have been contacted and I will make sure all of the proceedings are public so that everyone can see how...
