I ordered 2 pairs of earring online for pick up at about 4 pm. The site says they are normally ready for pick up in 24 hours. I got an email confirmed for a cancelled product because it was no longer in stock. That was fine, but I waited and waited for the pick up confirmation email. The next day at 5 pm, still nothing. I called customer service and a rep advised that orders are usually fulfilled within 4 hours. When I told her it has been over 24 hours she placed me on hold to give the store a call. She came back and told me the store said my order was ready for pick up. When I asked if I was ever going to get a confirmation email, she couldn't tell me. Alas, I went to the store for pick up and I was greeted by an older woman who acted like I was bothering her. She got my ID and could not find my order anywhere. She asked me if I got an email confirmation. I said no, but that I spoke to a customer service rep and they told me it was ready for pick up. She eventually found it, no apologies for the delay, and basically threw my ID on the counter instead of handing it to me. I thanked her as she was tying the ribbon on my bag and she rolled her eyes. I'm a return customer to Kay Jeweler's, first time at this location, and could not believe the service I received. I hate that no matter what whenever I visit a store in a predominantly African American neighborhood the customer service is always.. & I mean ALWAYS horrible. This experience was no different. I went in for a cleaning & inspection ( as I've been doing since I've received this ring) and stone of mine was missing so I wanted to what could be done. First off lets start by saying that it was 10:20 the store opens at 10 and the doors were locked. 3 women looking at me pulling at the door waits until I'm walking back to my car until they open the door. I get inside and she gives me the 3rd degree about getting my ring from them (She kept insinuating I was lying about buying it there). To make along story shirt I was not helped in the store. I called customer service and of course they said they do NOT understand why she didn't help me. the asked did I have her name and of course I didn't. I called the store to ask for her name ... again the 3rd degree started. the rep asked why I wanted her name.. and after she heard I called customer service she yelled it out loud before hanging up! it's extremely sad that we as a culture still conduct business this way. Read moreI visited this Kay Jeweler location today and they did not disappoint!!!! Carlos was AMAZING!!! He was extremely patient as I was indecisive as to which ring I wanted to purchase. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable about every collection in the store. With that being said I will be back to purchase any piece of jewelry in the near future. The ambiance of the store was warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!!!
I went into Jay Jewelers on Thursday, December 19, 2024 to have my daughter’s necklace repaired and my ring inspected/cleaned. Miss Bijan assisted me with these services, but also offered me other services that were conducive to my wants and budget. My daughter got a new necklace and I upgraded my ring. Miss Bijan and her supervisor, Ms. Comfort assisted me with the above stated. Miss Bijan displayed professionalism throughout there entire ring upgrade process. Miss Bijan has the patience of Job and ensured I received the jewelry pieces I wanted, despite having some connection issues with their equipment. Miss Bijan problem solved and did not mind reaching out to Ms. Comfort, in the event she needed clarity on any issue/concern.
