Hello beautiful people! Iām not trying to put the whole store down But I think this should be shared.
Last Summer I was working so it caused me to be way darker than I was usually tend to get lol but who cares really. But around that time, me and my sibling decided to get our makeup done for an event. I donāt remember the ladyās name, but she was a brown lady And she was nice and super helpful. It was busy that day, but there was a good amount of workers and nobody there was getting shade matches. The lady was a wonderful help. She did not complain about having to help us find make up and she also recommended some of her favorites, especially on a budget. Which was the elf products. I got a ( 27 n) Morphe shade cool.
Now me and my parent decided on April 31st We should get some make up for another event. We go in And weāre all smiles But my parent leg was hurting So I told her to wait while I went to go get someone so she can she match the both of us. Some lady, I donāt know what race she was but she was wearing a high ponytail , no makeup , brown blush lashes and eyebrows done. Cool . I went up to her, all smiles And I said hey, could you shade match me and my mother And she said OK sure. Some girl comes up behind us And ask if she can make an appointment And she said sure Also cool so she told me that sheāll be back. After a couple of minutes go by weāre still waiting And while weāre waiting, we decided to look by the register Still visible so nobody could miss us And next thing you know Sheās at the register laughing. Okay Maybe she forgot So then we were like hey youāre supposed to be matching us Sheās like yeah hey Iām sorry and we are like Itās OK. She didnāt want to ask what make up my mom uses my mother said she like to make up I was using Which was Morphe So I told the lady then she proceeds To grab a random Morphy shade put some on a blender And start patting my motherās face (my mom was getting upset) With no warning Mind you weāre still standing up in the middle of the store? The heck.. So as I said before My motherās leg was hurting, and they have a whole makeup Section I asked hey can she sit down over there? (By the way there is a whole MAKEUP station why we standing up in the middle of the store)? I said thereās a mirror so we can actually see what we like. Then she starts yelling at me āOKAY HUN YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANNA DO BOOā
Hold upā¦wait a minute something aināt right.
I asked nicely if my mother could sit down bc her leg was hurting and also bc the makeup station was right there and you start yellingā¦. Chile.
And as soon as we sat down after that Iām like that doesnāt even match her skin color mind you the lady said this is the perfect match but now we sitting down and have light on her face now itās not. She also asked who helped me do her makeup and I described her and she said āoh she mustāve got firedā then she laughs
Me and my mother we donāt laugh because why you out here telling people businessā¦.?
Any whom after that she acted like she didnāt even want to do her job she signed when we asked her about the makeup. She even forgot to do my shade match but Iām glad bc I didnāt want anyone with that type of attitude and unprofessionalism to touch my face. THEY HAVETHE ITEMS AND THE RETURN RECEIPT BUT REFUSES TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKES.
AGAIN ROBBERY. OK
So I bought 3 perfume gift sets online (they werenāt what I thought) well I returned them on November 13th, the employee took the return, told me itās refunded so I went about my day when I realized I never got the refund. When I called the store about it, one girl Cynthia couldnāt be bothered and when I told her the situation then she said āoh we have problems with affirm, it never works so you probably wonāt get your money back or even a store credit, affirm affirm affirm. Turns out I actually used Klarna so she couldnāt use that as an excuse. They checked the footage after over a week, seen that I did infact return it. They basically did absolutely nothing but keep saying they were trying to resolve it. When I talked to the GM Michelle (I think) and sheās basically giving me the run around by using her customer service voice. (I know the voice, I have one too). They didnāt even talk to any of the employees about it because when I called I had to explain it over and over yet got no answer. Eventually they said sorry it will have to be āstore creditā( IF I GET ANYTHING AT ALL.) I mentioned I did everything right yet Iām paying for it because the employee didnāt do his job. She sounded very defensive. So I explained this AGAIN. IF THE EMPLOYEE TOOK MY RETURN, SAID I WAS REFUNDED. THEN THATS HIM LITERALLY NOT DOING HIS JOB CORRECTLY if your job is to take a return and give a refund he definitely did not do his job.During this time customer service isnāt helpful, at first they were, but then she made a ticket because I said Iām going to talk to the district manager and AGAIN, I know she made a ticket right there and then because I said DM and she wanted to cover herself so she can say sheās doing what she can to the DM and making it seem like she doing what she ācanā
THE BEST PART IS THEY FOUND THE VIDEO FOOTAGE THEN THEY FOUND THE RECEIPT SUDDENLY, I thought it was finally over, but they called and said
āI found the receipt you did In fact, return the three gift sets, but there is a glitch in the system that stopped you from getting a refund.ā THEY HAVE THE PRODUCT AND THE PROOF I RETURNED THE ITEMS, but so now I might get āstore creditā because of the situation. UM I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT, YOUR EMPLOYEE SCREWED UP, GET OVER IT OR I PROBABLY WONT GET MY REFUND EITHER WAY.
So to put this in Lehmanās term,
THEY HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR PROOF THAT I DID RETURN IT BUT INSTEAD OF GIVING ME MY REFUND AND SAYS I PROBABLY WONT EVEN GET ANY TYPE OF REFUND.
IF THEY HAVE THE ITEMS RETURNED AND WONT GIVE ME A REFUND, THATS ROBBERY. I AM BASICALLY BEING ROBBED BY THIS STORE.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, this is the ulta that we have closest to us-and weāve gotten to the point where we have to debate driving a lot further to get to a different ulta, or going to a Sephora- which we have even closer, but my wife usually gravitates towards ulta. She usually shops online and opts to pick up the item in store since she stays home with our toddler and finds it easier to simply pick up the order than to shop in-store with a very active toddler.
My wife has placed orders for curbside pick up on separate occasions. The first time, she placed two orders because she forgot to include an item and realized it after she had checked out. When she pulled up to the parking spot and checked in, she realized she couldnāt check in for both order simultaneously. So, she called the store and let them know the situation (2 orders, same account)-she was cut off by the person on the phone and she was told that someone already had her orders and would be out shortly. My wife, to avoid any confusion since she knew she had been cut off, confirmed with the person on the phone that it was two separate orders. The associate confirmed and hung up. When the person got to the car, she only had one order. My wife apologized and let her know that she actually had two orders. The worker got upset/annoyed and told my wife she shouldāve let them know. At this point my wife was thrown back by the tone, given the fact that she called to avoid this situation. When my wife let her know that she called to let them know, she just said āohā and said that they hadnāt told her anything. It was a rather uncomfortable situation.
Another time, she placed an order for curbside again. She used the email to notify them that she was there and waited over 20 mins. She finally decided to go in just in case they were super busy or understaffed. Turns out the person at the pick up desk simply didnāt hear the alert on the phone. The store was basically empty.
This last time, she placed an order, but was unable to pick it up because our toddler is sick. So I picked it up on my way home from work. I went Inside to avoid any issue. Well, this time they couldnāt find my order. I got the impression that my order was never actually pulled from the shelf (Iām not sure how theyāre system works, so I could be wrong). But the associate had to go get the items from the shelf. In total I was there for about 30 mins-for a pick-up order.
She shopped in-store a couple of times within the last year, and she said a lot of the workers were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately since she relies on the ābuy online, pick-up in storeā most of the time, sheās ready to give up on...
