The Vineyard — Attraction in Lake Township

I’ll start by saying the place is very nice the staff was nice, however, I was beyond shocked that we rented out the banquet hall for a family members birthday party.

After dinner was served which was pizza and salad. There were two extra large pizzas left and the manager had the nerve to say to us we could not take the pizza and put it on plates to sit on the table. She kept saying we need to pull this. We need to pull this and we’re like OK. Can we get a to go box and she said no so they took the two extra large pizzas that we paid for.

God knows what they did with them. I was able to get several slices of pizza and I asked for to go boxes and I was told no so I had to take the pizza out on a napkin. Would not recommend anyone to ever rent this banquet hall. Pics of Manager who kept saying we have to pull this and also my napkin plate .

Coming from managing several restaurants and bars, this place was not accommodating at all and several patrons noticed the manager looking at her watch constantly.

I’m only giving them one star because it’s the minimum I can give and Jennifer was AMAZING with answering all the questions my fiance and I had. If i could rate it 0 stars I would. We inquired about having our wedding reception March 30th, 2025 and we were told we had to go through Helen to book and pay a deposit. After WEEKS of trying to get in touch with Helen they gave our date away!!! We spent weeks trying to get in touch and meet up with Helen just for her to leave when we arrived to pay and not return calls until an entire week after. She is very unprofessional! We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Vineyard on 10/4. The staff were excellent! At our reception we had the Amish Chicken with piccata sauce…listen the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was very juicy, flavorful and their piccata sauce is the best!! Our vegetable was green beans with oil and garlic..delicious. I’ve never been at a reception were all plates were empty, our guest enjoyed their food! This place is a kept gem in Beverly!
