Had a great experience with Marvin at Wythe Ink. The shop was clean, professional and everyone was extremely friendly. I wanted to get a small homemade tattoo covered, that I had since I was 15. I also wanted a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne because he was a huge part of my growing up as a teen, listening to Heavy Metal. I knew what I wanted before I came. It was a bat, the same one Ozzy has on his hand in the same place. I showed him a pic and he did his magic and we were off to put it on my hand. The owner, Marvin, is not at all professional. But it’s his business so no biggie. I am legally blind and was telling my sighted friend that it was too expensive for what I wanted. I decided to go elsewhere and he started to talk about the price. I told him I didn’t need his opinion, I was talking to my sighted friend. That’s when he decide that I was unwelcome in his store. Very touchy for a business owner. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that has any pride in their piece or themselves. I made a appointment yesterday and got one the same day. When I got there the atmosphere was very clean, and spacious. I was informed I would be taken back in a few minutes. The only thing I found odd was no one made me fill out paperwork or take my drivers license for the fact how did they know I was 18 or older?
