Tieton Village Drugs — Local services in Yakima

The pharmacy customer service is truly horrible. I went in today to fill a prescription, and two women were working on one of the woman's computer in the "drop off prescriptions" section of the pharmacy. After several minutes of standing right in from of them, and not having either one of them, or anyone else acknowledge my presence, I became somewhat perturbed but continued to wait. One women finally left the other woman (working on her computer), and I thought surely she come over to me. Instead she went to her own work station, did a little turn or twirl, and them went back to the woman working on her computer, She glanced at me, but never really acknowledged me. So I continued to wait for several more minutes. During this time, never an acknowledgement from either women, no "I'll be with you in a moment", nothing! So finally, I realized my presence and business was not important, and in fact, I was just disturbing whatever it was that they were doing. As a result, I decided to leave. Even on walking away did either women acknowledged me, ask/say, "Sorry, can I help you?", etc. nothing!. Just unbelievable! I have done business at this store and pharmacy in the past, and some employees are great, others, like the two women today, not so much. I've found one of their pharmacist (white hair, heavy set man) to also be quite rude, and unaccommodating to my needs. He initially refused to call my insurance company when I explained their pricing on my medication was wrong. It was an emergency supply I was to get for free, however,t the pharmacy had charged me full price. When I asked to speak with the store manager, he finally relented, and called my insurance company. Never did he apologize for his pricing error or his reservations in calling my insurance company. Anyway, I sincerely doubt I will ever use this store, and most esp. the pharmacy again even though it is around the corner from where I live and very convenient esp. in emergency...

I don’t know which of the business in that little parking lot but if you do not want vehicles parked in your lot at night doing absolutely nothing post it. I got harassed by your “security”. If people aren’t allowed in the lot at night even far away from doors, POST it please. I like your store, but this put a bad taste in my mouth. I’m giving the 4 stars because I do like some places in there. I’ve hung out in that lot at night a lot in the past 19 years and all of a sudden I get harassed. Cops have even seen me parked in the lot over the years and did nothing. Probably because I stay away from the building and then your “security” decides harassment is valid. In all my years in Yakima I had never been into Tieton Village Drugs. I've driven by hundreds of times, but finally stopped in to pick up some medication. It's a nice place! It's somewhere between a general store and a pharmacy (think walgreens minus the refrigerated goods). They had a surprisingly good selection of seahawks items at decent prices! They have one of the best selections of braces that I've ever seen in a store, which I'll file away in my brain for next time that I get hurt and need one! This is great local option for pharmacy and medical related items....you can even find a few gifts and pick up some snacks while...
